Jennifer Coolidge, known famously for playing Stifler’s mom in American Pie, has admitted she got a lot of “s*xual attraction” from men because of the role.

And it seems her role as Stifler’s mom had a pretty big impact on her personal life.
Now, on July 9, 1999, a movie burst into movie theaters the likes of which the American public had never before seen…
It was raunchy, obscene, hilarious – it featured a teenage boy doing unspeakably s*xual things to the most American of desserts, the apple pie.
It was called, quite appropriately American Pie…
And it was a monster hit among its teenage audience.
The stars of American Pie became breakout stars.
Who can forget Eugene Levy as the painfully awkward father? Or Jason Biggs as Jim, the nerdy everyman protagonist desperate to lose his virginity?
Or Shannon Elizabeth as Nadia, the very hot Slovakian exchange student.
What about Sean William Scott as Steven Stifler, the profane, but strangely likable jock?
But there was one character that would quickly grow to overshadow her relatively small part in American Pie.
She was blond, buxom, and s*xually voracious. She preyed on eager teenage boys and they loved her for it.
Stifler’s mom… and she was quickly branded a MILF.
According to the Urban Dictionary, the word milf stands for “Mother I’d like to f***.” It’s even made it to the regular dictionary as a “vulgar slang” that describes “a s*xually attractive older woman, typically one who has children.”
Other MILFs have come and gone, most famously Mrs. Robinson of The Graduate…
But one MILF stands above them all, Jennifer Coolidge.
She played Paulette in the movie Legally Blonde and Sophie in the sitcom 2 Broke Girls.
She has a robust Twitter presence and a sly, offbeat sense of humor. Still, none of her roles have had as much resonance as Stifler’s Mom.
Coolidge’s character was a massive hit when the movie first came out.
And there’s no denying she was very much desired by the male audience.
Stifler’s Mom, is, in short, the epitome of fantasy.
And it seems that life imitated art when it came to her raunchy role, as she’s recently admitted her s*x life flourished after the release of the hit movie.
However, although the role had its perks, she has admitted it’s not all been positive…
In her interview with Variety, she highlighted that she felt she was typecast after playing Jeanine Stifler, meaning she wasn’t able to get more serious roles.
“The saddest thing about life is that you just make decisions about yourself,” she said.
“If I’m not getting great roles, I come to the conclusion that people think I’m incapable of that.
“And then I make the decision that I am incapable of that. You actually have to have a [White Lotus director] Mike White that comes in and says, I think you can do this,” she said of her most recent role in HBO’s The White Lotus.
And she has admitted that’s one of her greatest achievements, as “no one else thought” she could do it.
The actor added: “I have done one thing really right in my life… I’ve picked great friends.
“If Mike was never successful, and we just did White Lotus as a play in a little theatre where everyone paid 10 bucks to see it, it would still be one of the greatest things that ever happened to me.
“Because it was a killer job that no one else thought I could do.”
So although working on American Pie wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, Coolidge did admit it had some benefits.
She opened up about how her relationships changed once she was thrust into the spotlight.
Speaking to Variety, the star said: “I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of s*xual action from American Pie.
“There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
Coolidge went on to play the character a whopping 4 times for American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding, and American Reunion.
