Now, society puts a lot of pressure put on moms, to not just play the perfect part, but look the part too, and as a result, many women feel the need to “bounce back” to the body they had before their pregnancy.

For women in the public eye, this pressure is increased tenfold, and it can have a huge impact on their self-esteem, even impacting negatively on their mental health.

However, actress Jennifer Garner is doing all she can to break this idea that we all have to “bounce back,” and instead is promoting a positive body image to all women struggling with their post-baby bodies.

She spoke out in a podcast, and revealed that people still spread rumors that she’s pregnant due to her alleged “belly.” Garner said: “I’m 48, and I’m single. And it’s still happening.”

“It’s just a body. Be grateful for it. It carried you this far. It carried babies for you. What else do you want? My goodness.” She explained, “The bump is not going anywhere. Its name is Violet, Sam, and Sera.’’

She added: “I can work really hard, and I can be really fit and I will still look like a woman who’s had 3 babies, and I always will.”

People have been praising the star after she spoke out, sharing their stories and thanking her for being candid about having a realistic body image.

One Facebook user wrote: “I think she looks fantastic. And most importantly she is a freaking amazing person. Good for her taking it in stride and loving herself as she is. Also people… stop asking women if they are pregnant. It sets everyone up for hurt feelings and or embarrassment. If you see someone and think they are pregnant then just silently to yourself be happy for them and send out good vibes. That way everyone wins.”

Another commented: “There’s a reason mom jeans exist. For moms and their new bodies. Bringing new life to the world is hard work, so of course, a mom’s body is forever changed. Not just with pregnancy, but breastfeeding too. Everything changes.”

“This is a real woman and mother. She is beautiful inside and out. Love yourself. Love your body. So empowering!” a third wrote.

And it seems that she’s once again gained respect from fans after sharing her thoughts on fillers.

The fifty-year-old opened up in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, explaining that she thinks no one should be “shooting up your face” with fillers.

And many fans agree with her comments…

One Facebook user wrote: “Wow. She is dead on about looking in the mirror too much. There is a whole world to see out there, and life is short. Enjoy it.”

“Jennifer Garner is amazing! Also if you think injectables will give you that boost of self-confidence, GO FOR IT! No one can tell you how YOU should age!” another commented.

Garner shared: “Be cautious when it comes to injecting anything into your face. Be very, very incredibly judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything.”

She explained, “Don’t think that you’re 37 and you need to be shooting up your face.”

The actress advised fans to “look in the mirror less, obsess less, and look at the rest of the world to see what you could be using your time for instead.”

Adding: “We all look at our faces more than people used to, and it doesn’t do you any good.”

But this isn’t the first time Garner has spoken out about beauty injections.

Speaking to Real Style back in 2020, she admitted to caving and having botox before: “I’ve gotten Botox a few times and I don’t like it — I don’t want a frozen face,” she said.

She then offered the best alternative: “Nothing looks better in your 50s than SPF in your 20s — Doris Day, MD, a board-certified derm in New York, told me that and I asked her if I could steal it because it’s so true,” she explained.

“In your 20s, you don’t care what you’ll look like in your 50s, but someday you will!” Garner continued.

“That and cleansing your face every night, at least use the face wipes; people laugh when I say that because I’ve used them for so long but I use them, even in the middle of the day, after a hike and wearing SPF, they give you a fresh start. And take care of your neck. Enjoy your neck.”

So there you have it!
