Lawrence spoke with Vogue for a brand new interview about her transition into motherhood.
Revealing her baby boy’s name in the process. And though to many it’s seen as beautiful, some had other thoughts.
One person commented: “Well it’s nice and easy to spell.”
While another added: “Isn’t this just a noise?”
But we think it’s just beautiful.
The actor revealed that she and husband, Cooke Maroney, had chosen to name their son Cy.
And she’s just in love with her son.
“I just stared. I was just so in love,” she recalled during her interview with Vogue.
And it seems the sweet name holds a lot of meaning…
In the interview, Lawrence revealed they named their son after the postwar American painter Cy Twombly, one of her husband’s favorite artists.
And with Cooke Maroney being an art gallerist and director the meaning behind the name is even more adorable.
