While there is no obligation for the first lady of the United States to work during the president's administration, Dr. Jill Biden is making steps by continuing her job as an educator, supporting military families, and advocating for cancer awareness and prevention.

However, as she touches down in the U.K for the first leg of the President's first trip abroad, she seems to have taken sly dig at former FLOTUS, Melania Trump...

There seems to be a jacket war going on between the first ladies!

And it looks like the message conveys America's contemporary essence to foreign world leaders during Biden's first trip abroad as President.

Back in 2018, Melania wore a $39 jacket emblazoned with the phrase "I really don't care, do you?" during a trip to a migrant child detention center.

Let's face it, we all remember it! Melania attended an event at the New Hope Children's Shelter in McAllen, Texas to visit children who had been separated from their parents as part of the Trump administration's zero-tolerance policy towards illegal immigration.

She was criticized at the time for wearing the controversial jacket on her way to the center and during her return trip, although she didn't wear the jacket at the center.

"It's obvious I didn't wear the jacket for the children, I wore the jacket to go on the plane and off the plane," Melania said in 2018.

"It was for the people and for the left-wing media who are criticizing me. I want to show them I don't care. You could criticize whatever you want to say. But it will not stop me to do what I feel is right."

Well, the current first lady has worn her own jacket-with-a-message, however, with an encompassing message of love.

Dr. Biden is currently in the U.K with her husband to meet with Britain's prime minister, Boris Johnson, where she was spotted wearing a jacket with the phrase "LOVE" written on the back.

The Bidens touched down in Cornwall, England ahead of the G7 summit, where President Biden is set to join world leaders to mainly discuss Covid recovery, including 'a stronger global health system that can protect us all from future pandemics'.

The message from America was clear - we bring nothing but love.

When asked about the jacket, the first lady told CSPAN, "Oh, the love? I think that we're bringing love from America. This is a global conference and we're trying to bring unity across the globe and I think that's important right now…especially after this last year."

Of course, people have been comparing it with Melania's jacket which displayed a completely unalike spirit, even though her team brushed it off as meaningless, saying it was just a jacket. Whether or not it was an honest mistake, Melania's cruel message was lambasted by the internet.

Who knows if Dr. Biden's jacket was in response to Melania's 2018 blunder...

But nevertheless, it was refreshing to witness!

People clearly appreciate how the first lady is actively interested in supporting the president and rebuilding precious relationships with foreign powers, much like Michelle Obama was during Obama's 8-year administration.
