After his recent trip to the U.K, President Biden shared his thoughts on the Queen and even likened her to his own mother.

He told reporters he had even invited the Queen to visit the White House after visiting Windsor Castle with the first lady for tea on Sunday.

After departing for Belgium, the president shared his opinions on the "extremely gracious" monarch after visiting her home in Berkshire.

President Biden was greeted by the Queen in the Quadrangle at Windsor Castle and they watched on as Her Majesty's Battalion Guard gave a Royal Salute as the Star-Spangled Banner played.

After that, they headed inside for an official photograph before having tea in the Queen's private quarters.

"I don't think she'd be insulted but she reminded me of my mother, the look of her and just the generosity," Biden said of the monarch.

"She's extremely gracious, that's not surprising, but we had a great talk. She wanted to know what the 2 leaders that I... the one I'm about to meet with, Mr. Putin, and she wanted to know about Xi Jinping, and we had a long talk."

During their forty-minute tea, Biden even invited the Queen to come and visit him in Washington.

"I said I wish we could stay longer, maybe we could hold the cars up a minute, and stuff," he admitted.

This was the second time the president and first lady have met the Queen during their visit to the UK...

And the occasion marks thirteen out of fourteen presidents the monarch has met during her sixty-nine-year reign.

The Biden's visit to Windsor Castle came towards the end of the G7 leader's summit in Cornwall, England, where he brought up China and its unwillingness to play by trade rules.
