Joe Biden Reportedly Considering Huge Role for Hillary Clinton in His Administration | 22 Words

Joe Biden is already trying to put an effective team together and it seems as though Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump's 2016 nemesis, will be playing a crucial part in it...

Clearly, the president-elect is wasting no time when it comes to making his mark.

Just days after his election success, Joe Biden is already thinking about who he's going to be giving important roles to...

And Hillary Clinton may be one of them.

According to the Washington Post, there are discussions about which role to put her in but there's a particular one that stands out...

Now, as you will all know, the race for the White House concluded last weekend...

And Joe Biden was ultimately projected to be the forty-sixth president of the United States.

Of course, Trump wasn't at all happy about this...

And, in a lengthy statement, he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. He said this: "We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. "The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. "In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process.  Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."

The statement continued:

"Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated. "The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election. "It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room – and then fight in court to block their access. "So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American People have the honest vote count they deserve and that Democracy demands."

However, on a more celebratory note, Joe Biden then spoke out after he was declared victorious...

He tweeted shortly after the news was announced that he is "honored" America has chosen him as a leader.

The vice-president-elect, Kamala Harris, then shared this video of her reacting to the news.

The clip was posted to Twitter shortly after the announcement was made.

Biden's win was a historic one.

While he didn't exactly get a landslide victory, the Democratic candidate won over 77 million votes - more than any other president in American history, and exceeding the previous record Barack Obama set in 2008.

And, on top of this...

His vice-president, Kamala Harris, has made history off her own accord.

She is the first woman in history to be elected as vice president of the United States...

As well as the first Black woman to be given the role.

This is a huge achievement for not only Harris but for women and people of color all across the country.

Clearly, Biden and his team are paving the way for a more progressive and diverse America.

And, while we're on the topic of inclusivity...

We also got some news concerning one of Biden's addition to his transition team.

Everyone, meet Shawn Skelly.

Shawn Skelly, a transgender war veteran, is the co-founder of the LGBTQ+ advocacy organization, Out In National Security, and is also a former special assistant to the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics.

Now, Skelly already has some experience within the world of politics.

She was the first transgender veteran to get a presidential appointee when Barack Obama named her director of the Office of the Executive Secretariat at the Department of Transportation.

But, as part of Biden’s transition team...

She will be one of those responsible for evaluating the Department of Defense, understanding how it operates, and helping ensure a smooth transfer of power.

And now, we've also got wind of another person that might be taking a crucial role in Biden's administration.

According to the Washington Post, Biden has been in "discussions" with Hillary Clinton considering the former secretary of state as something completely new... and people have had very mixed opinions on the matter.

Sources revealed to the outlet why this is a crucial move.

“[This] would be a way for Biden to highlight the importance of that position in his administration, and that placing her there would raise the prestige... at a time when global cooperation and the US role on the world stage, has ebbed."

And with her political expertise...

She'd make the perfect (potential) US ambassador to the United Nations.

We'll just have to wait and see...
