Joe Biden Says Donald Trump's Refusal To Acknowledge His Victory 'an Embarrassment' | 22 Words

Donald Trump is a sore loser, as we've all seen from his rampant Twitter posts, and people have grown pretty tired of it all.

Even Biden has come forward to share his opinion on Trump's denial, and everyone agrees...

Donald Trump has been through a lot this past week...

As you will all be aware by now, the president suffered a colossal loss to his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, for this year's presidential elections.

Of course, Trump has been doing everything in his power to challenge the result...

 And today, a recent Tweet has shown that he has resorted to downright denying the election and its results.

Now, this year's presidential election was perhaps the most anticipated in decades.

 And, as Trump and Biden went head-to-head, a record number of Americans made sure to get their votes in early.

However, it brought with it a lengthy counting process.

 As a result of the increased numbers of mail-in ballots this year, Americans far and wide were left waiting in anticipation for days for any form of result or conclusion.

Though polls across the country closed on Tuesday, November 3rd...

 It took days for a result to be announced. As the days trickled by, each State gradually announced their winning candidate and, throughout those tense couple of days, the numbers remained painfully close between President Trump and former vice president, Joe Biden.

Trump was clearly feeling the heat...

 And, as the counts went underway, he tried to temporarily stop vote-counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, States where Joe Biden was projected to win.

He also called for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...

 And then went on to threaten legal action against any State wherein Biden had won.

Though a Biden campaign lawyer brushed off the threats as "meritless."

 “I want to emphasize that for their purposes these lawsuits don’t have to have merit. That’s not the purpose. ... It is to create an opportunity for them to message falsely about what’s taking place in the electoral process," lawyer, Bob Bauer said, accusing the Trump campaign of “continually alleging irregularities, failures of the system and fraud without any basis."

But, regardless of his many threats, the results were in after 4 long days of ballot counting.

 The Associated Press called the race for Biden when Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes put him over the 270-vote threshold needed to win the Electoral College.

Shortly after his victory, Biden Tweeted this:

"America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans -whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me."

Democrats all over the country quickly rejoiced at the news of Biden's historic win...

And remarkable footage of people cheering and celebrating from the streets of New York was quick to circulate.

However, there's someone who isn't in the mood for celebrating...

 And that's President Trump, of course.

Now, Trump's reaction to Biden's win has been nothing short of outrageous.

 Though the president is a historically sore loser - he's very rarely had to admit defeat ever in his life - and has long made wild accusations against the Biden campaign team, people simply cannot believe his refusal to accept what has happened.

And Joe Biden brushed off the comments like a true leader.

Trump still refuses to admit defeat, to which Biden called “an embarrassment." Now, I think we can all agree on that one!

Despite this, Biden assured everyone things are all moving along how they should be.

“We are already beginning the transition. We are well underway. The inability by the administration [to concede] … does not change the dynamic at all what we are able to do," Biden said.

He continued...

“We’re going to be going and moving along in a consistent manner putting together our administration and the White House," he said. “Nothing’s going to stop that. I’m confident they’re not being willing to acknowledge we won is not of much consequence to our planning and what we’re able to do between now and January 20th."

January 20th is the day we're all waiting for when the president-elect will be sworn in.

No federal judge has sided with any of the claims made by Trump, as none of them have any solid evidence. It looks as though the Trump administration is clutching at straws.

Even Ronna McDaniel, the republican national committee chair, seems to have little faith in Trump's comments.

She said even the Trump team isn't sure that if they got what they wanted in terms of voiding votes, whether that would even make any difference to where he stands in the election.

Biden is pretty confident about it all, as he should be...

And he announced that world leaders have been calling to congratulate him that “America is back in the game".

This is a dramatic change from Trump's “America first philosophy," where he rejected pacts with other countries, like the Iran nuclear deal.
