Joe Biden has visited his son, Beau's, grave on the anniversary of his death.

Joe Biden is now officially the 46th President of the United States.
Earlier today, he was sworn into the position along with Kamala Harris, who is set to take on the position of Vice President.
Now, as you will know, it was Biden's third time running for president.
But, long before reaching one of the highest political offices in the nation, Joe Biden grew up in Scranton, northeast Pennsylvania.

And we can't help but remember all the tragic obstacles in Biden's way.
But especially the death of his son, Beau Biden, who would have been proud of his father for achieving his dreams today.
And if things couldn't get any more emotional, we recently found out that Hunter Biden has named his son after his late brother.
The young boy was born in late March last year, according to reports and was given the nickname Beau in honor of his late uncle.
And the news just put the cherry on top of the all-important inauguration day for a lot of people.
But the latest news?
Is that Biden has visited the grave of his son, Beau, on the sixth anniversary of his death.
President Biden spent Sunday morning at his family's church in Delaware — where he visited his late son Beau's grave on the anniversary of his death.

Biden was seen with his arm wrapped around Beau's 15-year-old son, Hunter, as they walked to the gravesite near St. Joseph on the Brandywine.
The First Lady was also seen carrying flowers to the grave site.
