Joe Exotic Predicts Presidential Pardon | 22 Words

Joe Exotic could be clawing his way out of prison any time now after President Trump revealed his plans to pardon one-hundred people on his last day in office.

Here's what we know so far...

Now of course, there was one point in lockdown when we were all obsessed with Netflix's docuseries, Tiger King

The 7-part series retells the story of a war between a very flamboyant tiger owner named Joe Exotic and his enemy, a Florida-based animal activist named Carole Baskin.

And last year, things took a turn for the worst.

 Joe was sentenced to twenty-two years in prison.

His first charge was for conspiracy to murder.

 He allegedly hired a hitman to take Carole out whilst she was biking down a deserted bike path before the FBI became involved and thus foiled his dangerous plan.

And the second was for animal cruelty.

 Though his treatment of his tigers has always been questionable, it was found that Joe had killed several of the older big cats to make room for new arrivals at his animal park.

Most of us believe that this sentencing is more than reasonable.

Despite how cookie he comes across as on camera, it's undeniable that Joe belongs behind bars for his appalling behavior to both his staff and his innocent animals.

But others weren't too convinced.

Evidently hoodwinked by his "loveable" on-screen persona, many people have been taking to Twitter to protest his sentencing.

The hashtag #freejoeexotic was even trending for a while.

I've lost all faith in humanity.

So many people are set on seeing Exotic walk free...

Simply because he makes good television.

There was even someone else who's revealed their questionable stance on the Joe Exotic situation...

 And it is incredibly worrying, if not a little unsurprising.

President Trump showed his support for Joe.

 Why doesn't this shock me at all?

He revealed his stance on the topic at a press conference last year.

Implying that he would be looking into Joe's sentencing himself.

But, before the conference, he apparently had no idea who Joe Exotic was.

And, when a reporter brought up his son, Donald Trump Jr's comments on the show, the president replied:

"I know nothing about it … he has twenty-two for what? What did he do?"

And, after the reporter explained why Joe had landed himself behind bars...

The president asked, “Do you think he didn't do it? Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon?"

He emplored the rest of the room about whether Joe should be pardoned or not...

 Before saying: "As a reporter, you're not allowed to do that [give an opinion], you'd be criticized." He then confirmed, "I'll take a look. Is that Joe Exotic? That's Joe Exotic."

After Exotic's legal team got a whiff of the conference, they began milking it for all it was worth...

In a video directly addressed to Trump, Exotic resorted to begging (yes, literally begging) for his release.

One of the main attractions of the campaign included a bus...

But not just any bus, a double-decker one with the not-so-inventive-slogan: "President Trump please pardon Joe Exotic, Team Tiger."

Yeah, that should definitely do the trick!

They even took things one step further, coming up with a whole new conspiracy theory that states Joe Exotic has been framed for something he didn't do.

Yikes.

Just when you thought this world couldn't get any crazier...

Now, Exotic reportedly has a limousine waiting near the prison he's at, anticipating a presidential pardon from Trump.

Donald Trump is reportedly due to issue one-hundred pardons during his last day today, and Exotic's team is confident he will receive a pardon.

Private investigator Eric Love, who is leading the case, said: "This time tomorrow, we're going to be celebrating.

"We have good reason to believe it will come through.

"We're confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. We are really in action mode right now.

"I've got make-up, wardrobe, the whole unit that will come up.

"The first thing Joe wants to do, he wants his hair done. He hasn't had his hair done in two-and-a-half years. That's the first order of business.

"Then we'll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib."

And when asked why he was so confident he would be granted clemency...

Exotic said: "I think the President has sided with us and I believe it will take most of the limelight away from President-Elect Joe Biden.

"Last night, I shot a congratulatory video thanking Donald Trump so we have it queued up and ready to go.

"As soon as we get the word, we're going to execute that video to the White House and thank them."

I guess we'll have to wait and see.
