Joe Jonas is making some big moves in his new life as a single man.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were one of Hollywood’s favorite couples.
The Jonas Brothers frontman and the Game of Thrones alum got married in 2019 and have two daughters: Willa and Delphine.

During their relationship, Sophie and Joe seemed happier than ever, letting fans in on little moments.
Turner even appeared in a Jonas Brothers music video with her sisters-in-law, once upon a time.

Because the couple looked so happy, it came as quite the shock when Joe filed for divorce earlier this year.
The singer filed on September 5, calling the marriage “irretrievably broken” and noting that “it is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility.”

Jonas and Turner went on to confirm their split with matching statements on Instagram.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the statement reads. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Just one day after the filing, Joe performed alongside his brothers, Nick and Kevin, in Phoenix, Arizona.
As fans were looking for signs to indicate an end to his marriage, they were quick to notice that he was not wearing his wedding ring.

Later that same month, TMZ reported that following the birth of their second child in July, Turner was “struggling” and “didn’t want to leave their home” or “be photographed or go to events.”
Sources who were around Jonas told the outlet that he was “less than supportive” of his wife during that time.

The outlet went on to allege that the couple had been facing “challenges in the relationship” for the last six months, especially since their “different lifestyles” were swapped. Turner reportedly went from frequently “partying” to staying at home while Jonas went from staying at home to being very social.

Following that news, resurfaced comments from Sophie suggest she was never the biggest partier to begin with.
In 2020, Turner told Conan O’Brien in a virtual interview that she was “loving” quarantine because she’s an “introvert.”

“I’m a homebody… if I could stay home all day, I would, so this is great for me,” Sophie said.
“Everything seems to be working out in my favor here… because Joe’s a real social butterfly so I struggle to lock him down and have him just spend time with me,” she admitted at the time. “It’s like prison for him, but it’s great for me.”

Regardless of the conflicting reports, it seems that their differences in lifestyle eventually caught up to them, causing Jonas to file for divorce.
Now, following this big life change, he’s listed his New York City bachelor pad for sale.

The musician’s Nolita home, which resides at 199 Mott St., is back on the market for the hefty price tag of $5.99 million.
Joe bought the apartment as a bachelor pad for $5.6 million back in March 2018, just a year before his secret, surprise Vegas wedding to Turner following the Billboard Music Awards.

Jonas first listed the downtown home for $6.5 million in 2020, and it has been on and off the market ever since.
The property comes with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and coveted private outdoor space. It measures 2,907 square feet and was designed with an open, loft-style layout.

The second-floor dwelling also has a chef’s kitchen and a main bedroom equipped with a large walk-in closet, an ensuite bath and doors that open to a massive 1,450-square-foot terrace.
The guest bedrooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows while design details include oak floors, high ceilings, and central air.

As Jonas’ home sits on the market, there’s still a lot going on in his personal life.
Back in September, Turner filed a lawsuit against her estranged husband for the “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.”

According to Sophie, she and Joe agreed to make England their family home in late 2022 and were living there in spring 2023.
She was busy filming the miniseries Joan, while the singer kept the children during that time while on tour.

According to reports from PEOPLE, Turner’s filing claims that they had agreed she would return for their two daughters after filming wrapped and return to London, but after filing for divorce, Jonas refuses to hand over their passports.

“The Father has possession of the children’s passports. He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother,” the documents state.
Turner also reports that Jonas’ legal team told her legal team that he would not allow the children to return to London with their mother.

To make matters worse, Turner also alleges that she found out about the divorce filing “from the media.”
The former Game of Thrones star went on to say the entire unraveling of their relationship happened “very suddenly” following an argument on August 15.

Just a couple hours after Sophie’s lawsuit went public, Joe released a statement of his own.
According to the singer, allowing the children to go back to England would be in direct violation of a Florida court order.

“After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce,” the statement reads, per TMZ. “The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago.”

Jonas’s statement went on to say that if Turner decides to move to England indefinitely, he wants the two of them to work out a co-parenting arrangement that allows the children to live both in the United States and United Kingdom.

“Joe is seeking shared parenting with the kids so that they are raised by both their mother and father, and is of course also okay with the kids being raised both in the U.S. and the U.K.,” says the statement. “The children were born in the U.S. and have spent the vast majority of their lives in the U.S. They are American citizens.”

After multiple days of back-and-forth statements to the media, the former couple was able to reach a custody agreement regarding their two young daughters.
Jonas and Turner are now required to keep the children in New York until further custody rules can be worked out.

A Manhattan judge ruled on October 3 that the former couple’s ongoing custody battle is set to go to trial.
The judge has set the trial date for January 2, 2024.

Joe and Sophie are also attending mediation sessions during their custody dispute, according to reports from PEOPLE. These sessions should hopefully help the former couple work out custody arrangements and a “parenting plan” until the January trial date.

Despite being blindsided by the divorce, it looks like Turner is already moving on to someone new.
On October 28, the actress was seen kissing British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson while in Paris for the Rugby World Cup finals.

According to reports from The Sun, the two of them were spotted talking and before Pearson removed his hat and planted a big kiss on Turner. They ended up driving away in separate cars, but the two were also seen together later at the event.

Turner has also been spotted spending some time with another of Jonas’ exes, Taylor Swift. The stars stepped out in New York City together for a girls’ night just a couple weeks after Jonas filed for divorce.

Sources also confirmed to PEOPLE that Turner was staying at Swift’s apartment in the big apple alongside her two daughters.
“Sophie is doing OK. She is happy to be back with her girls,” a source close to Turner told the outlet. “Working in Europe was very hard for her. She missed her girls.”

Now, the couple continues to share custody of their children while divorce proceedings continue. For Joe, that means offloading his old bachelor pad and possibly settling into something new for this upcoming stage in his life.
