Joey Swoll, a TikTok sensation, emerged as a knight in shining armor, leading to the cancellation of a female gym-goer’s membership following her unnecessary and disrespectful remark targeted at a fellow gym enthusiast.

The reality star is known for her bombshell body, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she spends a lot of time in the gym.

Regardless of the rumors surrounding how she got her curves, Kardashian is always giving fans some insight into how she maintains her figure.

To kick off the new year, Kim gave fans even more details about her workouts.

The SKIMS founder opened up about what she does during her trips to the gym, also revealing what her least favorite workout is.

While working with trainer Senada Greca, Kardashian posted a video standing in front of a mirror as she lifted a trap bar loaded with weights.
“Leg day RDLs,” she captioned the video, referring to the Romanian deadlift exercises she was doing.

Kardashian went on to give some insight into Greca’s training style in the caption of a video that showed her lying on her back and doing hamstring curls.

“@seneca.greca is always telling me to slow it down but I actually couldn’t here. These hamstring curl is a killer!” the star wrote.

“We’re going for heavier weights this year,” she said of her workout plan for 2024. “Set small fitness goals and stick with them.”

But, Kardashian isn’t afraid to admit that there is a certain exercise she doesn’t love to perform.
“I hate these hip thursts!” she began her caption for the next Instagram Story video.

“She makes me do them three times a week! Consistency is key,” she continued. “We use the leg extension machine and a bench! Creativity is also key!”

Unfortunately for Kim, not everyone thought that her workout videos were helpful.
Fans call Kim out

In fact, a lot of fans across social media were criticizing Kardashian’s trainer for letting the star do workouts with such poor form.

“No bc why do the trainers who work with the Kardashians never correct their form?? I don’t understand this,” one fan wrote on X.

They continued, “They be looking crazy on their show when they film their workout sessions and the trainer just stands there.”

In a Reddit forum dedicated to the Kardashian/Jenner family, a lot of their fans had similar comments about the workout video.
“These personal trainers are scamming them!!! Her form is so bad cause the weight is too high,” one person commented.

Her followers are upset by her form

“Regardless I find it so funny that they pay so much for these personal trainers and their forms is crazy bad and do wack a** exercises,” they added. “Good for the personal trainers scamming them out of their money.”

“That’s actually so crazy and irresponsible omg,” another fan added. “This type of form can 100% cause an injury.”

Fans also questioned whether or not the personal trainer Kim works with is actually on her side, wondering if she lets the reality star posts these embarrassing videos on purpose.
The social media star’s video clearly backfired

“Do you think her trainer secretly hates her? ’cause why the hell would she film this and let her post it,” the fan asked.

Regardless of the backlash, Kim left the videos on her IG Story for the full 24 hours.

The entire Kardashian family–especially Kim and her sister Khloé–have always loved showing off their workouts, so it doesn’t look like that’s going to change.

Kardashian has yet to respond to commenters accusing her of having terrible form.
Meet The Protagonist: Joey Swoll

Meet Joey Swoll, a fitness enthusiast turned social media star whose TikTok escapades have amassed him a whopping 7.4 million followers.

His larger-than-life persona and no-nonsense attitude towards gym etiquette have earned him the moniker of the muscle maestro of the TikTok world.
The Controversial Incident

The controversy started when Allie Singer, a fitness influencer who goes by the handle ‘The_rippedbarbie’ on TikTok, decided to mock a man for his audacity to work out shirtless at the gym.

Her snide comment, “If you’re not going to wear a shirt, can you at least have some muscles?” was meant to be a sarcastic jibe at the man’s physique.

Little did she know, her attempt to body shame the fellow gym-goer would lead to a social media upheaval.
Social Media Outrage

Allie’s snarky comment did not sit well with netizens. They were quick to express their disapproval, sparking a wave of backlash across various social media platforms.

Critics pointed out the irony of Allie, who was merely filming the man, passing judgment on someone who was actually working out.

One user aptly noted, “He’s sitting there working his abs. She’s standing there working her thumb. I’d take shirtless man any day in my gym.”
Joey Swoll Steps In

As the situation escalated, our protagonist, Joey Swoll stepped in to do damage control.

His aim was not just to defend the honor of a fellow gym-goer but also to send across a strong message – that the gym should ideally be a judgement-free zone.
Joey’s Heroic Move

In a daring move, Joey decided to take matters into his own hands. He called up the gym management to confirm their rules regarding shirtless workouts.

As it turned out, the gym did allow workouts without a shirt on.

Joey used this information to confront Allie, suggesting that she should consider switching gyms if she had a problem with the gym’s rules.
The Aftermath

Joey’s intervention led to dramatic consequences.

The gym management took note of the situation and decided to cancel Allie’s membership, in light of her disrespectful behavior. Joey’s parting words to Allie were a stern reminder to respect others and mind her own business.

They praised him for standing up to Allie and for reminding everyone that the gym should be a place of respect and positivity, devoid of any form of body shaming.
