In the last couple of years, Siwa has risen to unprecedented levels of fame.

She has over twelve million followers on her YouTube channel alone, with her vlogs and music videos each raking in millions of views.

She’s done a lot over the years, too.

In fact, Siwa has an extensive list of accolades that have made her who she is today.

  via Getty Images

Dance Moms.

Which had everyone’s eyes fixated onto the screen.

  via Getty Images

The show, which has since skyrocketed the likes of Maddy Ziegler to fame, introduced us to the energetic and bubbly young girl – and she certainly made an impact.

But it wasn’t long before she found her second calling in life.

  via Getty Images

While she was getting her bearings with life as a social media star, Siwa found some success in the world of music.

  via Getty Images

Songs that have seen her tour the globe.

But in 2021, Siwa got people talking for an entirely different reason.

  via Getty Images

Siwa made a groundbreaking announcement regarding her personal life.

The teen sensation came out…

  via Getty Images

She made the brave decision to reveal her sexuality to her followers.

And, she went even further into the details, revealing that she actually identifies as pansexual.

It all started when Siwa first filmed herself on TikTok miming along to the lyrics of ‘Born This Way’ by Lady Gaga:

  via Getty Images

“No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgender life, I’m on the right track baby I was born to survive.”

She quickly followed up her video with a Twitter post…

  via Getty Images

Where she showed off a gift from her cousin; a t-shirt that reads, “Best Gay Cousin Ever.”

Of course, with every celebrity announcement comes negativity…

  via Getty Images

And even though the teen received a few comments of negativity — and was even swatted as a publicity stunt by the media – she took it all in her stride and is clearly happier than ever.

In a People’s cover story, Siwa opened up more about her love life as well as her sexuality.

  via Getty Images

“I still don’t know what I am,” she said referring to her sexuality. “It’s like, I want to figure it out.”

She continued:

  via Getty Images

“I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it, or queer because I think the keyword is cool…”

But then she also added this:

  via Getty Images

“Technically, I would say that I am pansexual, because that’s how I have always been my whole life is just, like, my human is my human.”

It’s now been more than a year since Siwa came out…

  via Getty Images

And it seems she is truly living her best life.

Siwa recently made headlines again after she gave fans a huge shock…

  via Getty Images

Siwa revealed that she has chopped of her iconic ponytail and people are loving her new look…

Siwa first teased people with her haircut as she shared a video to Instagram.

  via Getty Images

Sharing a video of her iconic ponytail being cut off, Siwa wrote: “Mayyyyy have done something todayyyy.”

And thankfully, it wasn’t too long before she unveiled her new hairdo…

  via Getty Images

Just hours later, Siwa took to Instagram again, to share a picture of her new short hair.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Siwa said that she got her hair cut.

  via Getty Images

“Yesterday, I went for the down and curly moment, but today I went for an up and back moment,” she said.

Describing herself as “obsessed” with her new hair, Siwa also added that it is “way different than long hair.”

  via Getty Images

We love it!

Not long after her chop, people were left shocked when Siwa wasn’t in attendance at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

  via Getty Images

While Siwa was nominated for Favorite Social Music Star, many were totally surprised that she wasn’t there herself.

And she later revealed why…

  via Getty Images

Posting to TikTok, Siwa wrote: “A lot of you have been asking me why I’m not at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tonight and the answer is very simple: I wasn’t invited. I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t get an invite.”

“I don’t want you thinking I didn’t want to be there. I would’ve loved to have been there.”

  via Getty Images

It’s pretty strange, right?

Well now, many of her fans have theorized it’s because of her image change, and in particular, being a vocal LGBTQ+ advocate.

  via Getty Images

Fans flooded the comments section on her most recent Instagram post to call out Nickelodeon.

Some highlighted how her image has changed over the last year and suggested that could have been the reason why.

  via Getty Images

Fans even took to Twitter to share their opinions, with one user writing: “Something about Nickelodeon not inviting Jojo Siwa to the Kids Choice Awards this year after she came out and cut her hair short, really rubs me the wrong way.”

Then Siwa herself shared some tweets by fans, seemingly agreeing with what they had to say…

  via Getty Images

She retweeted a fan’s tweet that read: “The only year that @itsjojosiwa didn’t get invited to the kids choice awards is when she comes out and cuts her hair?????? Sus @Nickelodeon.”

Then another…

  via Getty Images

The fan wrote: “Obsessed with the teenage girl celebrities who don’t take sh*t from their network of employment and refuse to be anything but themselves. Being connected to a kids channel shouldn’t mean you have to stop being yourself.”

However, it doesn’t look like she’s letting the whole ordeal get the better of her, as she was spotted at her first Pride parade with her girlfriend.

  via Getty Images

Kylie Prew surprised Siwa by showing up after initially telling her she wouldn’t be able to attend.

The surprise was documented on Siwa’s new Facebook series, JoJo Goes.

  via Getty Images

It turns out Siwa’s best friend Ezra Sosa planned the whole thing, and during the episode, Kylie Prew could be seen hiding, before jumping out to surprise her girlfriend.

At the end of the episode, Siwa tells Prew: “Thank you for being here with me. Thank you for doing this for the community with me. Thank you for spreading love with me. Thank you for being in my life and being there for me.”

  via Getty Images

She added: “And, y’all, that was literally the best freaking day, and I owe you all the world.”

You can watch the video here.

And now Siwa is in the news again

  via Getty Images

This time documenting her opinions about several high profile celebrities.

In her viral TikTok video, the actress revealed her biggest celebrity crush…

  via Getty Images

Which was none other than Zendaya.

Siva followed by saying “Miley Cyrus was the nicest celebrity she’s met.”

  via Getty Images

While Elton John was the “coolest.”

And that’s not all…

According to The Independent, Siwa ended her video by exposing the cartoon character Spongebob.

  via Getty Images

And called him the “celebrity that did me dirty”.

But fans were shocked to hear who the “rudest celebrity” she’s ever met was.

  via Getty Images

And we bet you’re not expecting to hear this name…

In the video, Siwa turned her phone for a brief second…

  via Getty Images

Showing fans a photo of a women wearing a sleeveless maroon turtleneck on the set of what looked like Fuller House.

The actress was none other than…

  via Getty Images

Cameron Bure — who is best known for her role as DJ Tanner on the 1987 sitcom.

Although, it’s unclear when Siwa’s “unpleasant interaction” occurred with Bure…

  via Getty Images

According to reports, Siwa did attend the Fuller House premiere in 2016, so maybe the interaction happened then.

You can watch the viral video here.

Bure then responded to being labeled “the rudest celebrity” by Siwa…

  via Getty Images

And this time there’s a-lot of Hollywood tea spilling.

After talking on the phone with Siwa…

  via Getty Images

Bure shared a video to her Instagram.

Keeping Siwa’s video in mind, Bure explained exactly what happened and why the star had targeted her in the TikTok video.

  via Getty Images

But it’s not what you think…

As reportedly, it all started when the 2 met at a red carpet event years ago…

  via Getty Images

But Bure was “shocked” when she saw Siwa’s TikTok.

The actress went on and said she “worked to get into contact with the 19-year-old.”

  via Getty Images

As she had “no idea” where her claim came from.

According to reports, Bure had a “great conversation” with Siwa…

  via Getty Images

During which Siwa told her that she didn’t expect the video to go viral, while Bure reassured her that she “didn’t think it was a big deal.”

And there was more to the tale than you think, as Bure didn’t stop just there…

  via Getty Images

Bure then went on and said she only met Siwa on The Kelly Clarkson Show

“Well, it was a big deal, but what did I do to you? Because I only remember that we met at The Kelly Clarkson Show and that went really great,” Bure said.

  via Getty Images

But she was quick to say that Siwa didn’t want to share the reason.

As apparently the reason was “so silly.”

  via Getty Images

And there’s more…

“You know, I met you at the Fuller House premiere and I was 11 years old. And we were all on the red carpet and I had come up to you and I said, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ and you said to me, ‘Not right now,’ and then you proceeded to do what you were doing and take pictures with other people on the red carpet,” she continued.

  via Getty Images

But what’s interesting is that Bure mentioned she “broke” Siwa’s 11-year old heart and well now she has apologized…

“I kind of broke your 11-year-old heart. I didn’t take a picture with you. Ugh! I feel crummy, I feel—JoJo, I’m so sorry,” she said.

  via Getty Images

But Siwa said she “gets it now as an adult, being pulled in different directions” on the red carpet.

And even confessed that she was just 11 years old when she bumped into the actress.

  via Getty Images

But now they’ve “talked it out,” and Bure also revealed things are “all good on the JoJo front,” while sharing “the lesson” she has taken away from the whole situation.

“If you’ve ever personally run into me and I was not the person you were hoping or expecting, I just want to say I’m sorry. Sorry in the sense that I get asked for photos and autographs often and, 99% of the time, it is my joy to do that. It is my joy to talk to people and say hi and all that.

  via Getty Images

“But I’m still a human being, all public people are and sometimes you have bad days,” Bure concluded.

You can watch Bure’s video response here.

Since then, Siwa’s video has garnered millions of views.

  via Getty Images

And Bure has shared a cryptic post that everyone thinks is a reference to Siwa’s recent comments.

The 46-year-old actress uploaded a passage from the Bible which caught everybody‘s attention…

  via Getty Images

The passage was quoted from Isaiah 26:4 and was posted alongside a picture of yellow flowers.

“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock,” it read.

  via Getty Images

But that’s not all…

Bure posted a TikTok video with a hovering pop up in the video that read:

  via Getty Images

“When they don’t know the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Candace has now received a tonne of support from her Hollywood pals…

  via Getty Images

And it seems everyone wants to know more about it…

  via Getty Images

People are seriously impressed with the actress.

“You are officially my spirit animal! So eloquently put,” said Tori Spelling.

  via Getty Images

“I’m sitting here crying 😭 watching this video. Rings soooooo true. You are truly an inspiration! Love u. Xo,” she added.

While Jana Kramer was all hearts for the actress…

“I love you,” said the Whine Down podcast host.

  via Getty Images

And it didn’t stop Kelly Rizzo from replying sarcastically in the comment section.

“Haha geez Candace! Why are you so mean!?!? 😂😂,” she said.

  via Getty Images

“(Jk you’re the best ever…so crazy you even had to spill all the tea..if that’s how the kids say it these days),” added the food blogger.

And that’s not all…

As Jenna Johnson, Siwa’s Dancing With the Stars season 30 partner, left “a handful of heart emojis” in the comments.

  via Getty Images

While Alexa PenaVega wrote “class act friend,” Jason Kennedy also dropped a load of heart emojis on the apology video too.

But it’s Candace’s daughter’s comment which is grabbing all the attention…

  via Getty Images

The actress captioned an Instagram photo of her parents, in obvious support of her mom amid the drama.

A day after Candace’s candid video response, JoJo dished out her take on the messy situation…

  via Getty Images

It’s something that fans were dying to hear from the star…

“You know, I had a rough experience when I was little,” she told PageSix at first.

  via Getty Images

“I was 11, and I was a big, big fan, and I wanted to take a picture with her, and it wasn’t a good time for her… I will say because I had a bad experience, that doesn’t mean that she is an awful human,” said the dancer.

“I think it just was an inconvenient time for her, and little 11-year-old me was just so pumped up and so excited, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst human ever…

  via Getty Images

“It just, you know, it was a rough experience for me,” JoJo signed off.

JoJo Siwa then revealed that Bure “didn’t share all the details,” from their meeting…

  via Getty Images

However, the dancer did confirm the actress “did call her” after their recent feud.

“We did speak on the phone,” she said in a recent Instagram video.

  via Getty Images

It was reported by PageSix that Siwa shared a video, where she disclosed a detailed explanation to her Instagram followers.

“It was at the afterparty that she didn’t wanna take a picture with me, and I was OK with that,” Siwa recalled.

  via Getty Images

But then she dropped another bombshell of a revelation…

“But then I turned around, and when I looked back, she was taking pictures with other kids.”

  via Getty Images

And that didn’t go down too well with Siwa…

Siwa said that made her “really really upset…”

  via Getty Images

She called it “one of those memories” that’s just always “stuck with” her.

“When you’re little and somebody says something to you, and you just never forget it as long as you live — I think we’ve all had that moment — and I feel like this was that moment for me,” she said.

  via Getty Images

“When you’re little and somebody says something to you, and you just never forget it as long as you live — I think we’ve all had that moment — and I feel like this was that moment for me,” she explained.

She then revealed more details from their phone call…

  via Getty Images

“It was a positive call,” she said.

“We had about a 10-minute conversation, and it was sweet.”

  via Getty Images

“She apologized, and we talked. It was cool. It was nice.”

And she didn’t stop being very candid about her honest confession and even had no regrets…

  via Getty Images

“I was being honest, and that’s something that I’ve always done and will always do,” she concluded.

Since then, Bure’s daughter has fired back at Siwa in defense of her mom…

  via Getty Images

And it’s not the first time too.

23-year-old Natasha said she felt “crummy” when she heard the scandalous story…

  via Getty Images

But even worse, knowing her mother’s feelings were likely hurt due to those comments.

Natasha recently posted a photo of her parents Candace and Valeri Bure, clearly in support of her mother.

  via Getty Images

“I wanna be them when I grow up. God gave me the coolest Mama & Papa. Could take pictures of them all day long,” she wrote.

She also hit back at Siwa.

  via Getty Images

In an Instagram Story, which has since been deleted, Natasha wrote: “Respectfully, someone saying ‘no’ to taking a photo with you is not a ‘rough experience.’ This generation is so sensitive and has no backbone,” as per Us Weekly.

“There are bigger issues in this world than this,” Natasha reportedly added. “Grow up.”

  via Getty Images

Fans have pointed out that Natasha’s comments about Siwa’s generation being too sensitive proves a whole lot about her. Given that the incident occurred when Siwa was 11 years old, and she has brought it up now, it’s been labeled as ‘pettiness’.

But 1 person who doesn’t agree is Siwa’s mom, Jessalynn Siwa.

  via Getty Images

Jessalynn opened up about the spat in a video on Instagram.

The clip was taken from an episode of her podcast Success with Jess, where she first shared the Bure incident.

  via Getty Images

She captioned the post: “I talked about this on my podcast a while back. The recent story told wasn’t quite right so here is the real version.”

“At the end of the day this story, it’s not about a simple photo it’s about how you treat people,” she added.

  via Getty Images

“Real, genuine kindness always goes a long way. It’s super easy to quote a Bible verse when everyone is looking at you but morals are what you have when no one is looking.”
