There's one clear winner when it comes to the best gender reveal party...

Charlette and Dan Fontaine recently officially adopted their 12-year-old daughter, Bianca, after having fostered her for 4 years.

Bianca joined their family at just 8-years-old but when Charlette and Dan first began their adoption process they hoped for a baby.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Charlette said: "When we first started this, I thought I wanted a baby.

"We had to take adoption classes, and what really stuck with me in the adoption class was that sometimes kids over the age of 2 are classified as 'unadaptable' because nobody really wants a child that's not a baby. And that statement there has stuck with me and it broke my heart."

And so in 2017, on a trip to Niagara Falls, the couple threw a Canadian dollar coin in the falls.

They then agreed, "if there's a kid that needs us, we'll get a call."

And within twenty-four hours they received the call about fostering Bianca, who they now call their "chosen one."

It's an incredibly heartwarming story, so obviously when the family finally officially adopted Bianca they decided they wanted to celebrate...

In a video posted on TikTok, the couple appear to be having a gender reveal party.
