Julia Michaels has become a talking point at the Grammys after she decided to show off her armpit hair on the red carpet.
Everyone is saying the same thing after seeing the snaps...
Who knew that in 2021 that this would still be considered "controversial"?

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards took place in LA on Sunday.
Hosted by the one and only Trevor Noah, the night promised to provide us with the best of what the music industry has to offer in one star-studded night.
Even though the event was fully socially distanced, as most award ceremonies have been, it was filled with action.
And it's all because of one man. Trevor Noah.
But he didn't do it alone.
Stars such as Harry Styles, Beyonce, BTS, and Taylor Swift lined up to give us a night to remember. But there's one particular topic that has now stolen the spotlight: Julia Michael's armpit hair. Yeah, I know.
The singer made heads turn on the red carpet as she posed with her boyfriend, JP Saxe.
Here's all the low-down of the entire night, including all the drama surrounding Julia Michaels' armpits.
The event kicked off in true Grammy's fashion, as Harry Styles took center stage with his number 1 single, "Watermelon Sugar."
Dressed in a 2-piece leather suit and green feather boa, which was iconic enough already, the former One Direction member reminded the world that he's not just a pretty face with a nice British accent, although that seems to add to his powerful demeanor.
During his performance, he decided to play around with this idea of male sexuality.
Now, no one's going to forget the scandal involving Harry Styles and his famous Vogue cover where he opted to sport a dress, are they? The choice sparked a backlash from conservatives slamming the artist for straying from "gender norms."
However, that didn't put Styles off...
His Grammy performance outfit totally contrasted with his Vogue shoot, again, emphasizing the idea that men don't need to adhere to these rigid gender and sexuality norms in order to be perceived in a certain manner.
And alongside that, are we going to forget about those vocals and dance moves? Of course not.
Despite his performance already being a victory, Styles was also awarded with his first Grammy for Pop Solo Performance just as a lovely, little middle-finger to all the trolls online. How's that for a "manly man," eh?
Styles wasn't the only one to make history yesterday either.
Megan Thee Stallion was a hot topic of the awards as she scooped up multiple awards while also leaving her mark on the industry by becoming the first female rapper in 2 decades to win Best New Artist.
Her breakout single "Savage" and her feature on the ever-so-famous hit single, "WAP" also bagged her 2 more awards.
The twenty-six-year-old was the winner in Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song too. This is just Megan's world and we're all just living in it. Period.
It didn't stop there in terms of female domination.
Taylor Swift made history as she became the first female artist to win Album of the Year 3 times. That's right, 3 times. The only other artists to have ever achieved such a momentous accolade are Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder. But with Swift re-recording her previous albums, she's bound to steal the throne in that category for the next few years.
Next up, we have the winner of Record of the Year, Billie Eilish.
The now 7-time Grammy winner took home the awards for Song Written for Visual Media and the most prestigious award of the night, Record of the Year, with her hit single, "Everything I Wanted."
And being the gracious winner that she's always been, she dedicated her speech to Megan Thee Stallion, who she claimed "deserved" the award.
Eilish praised Stallion, telling her: "This is really embarrassing for me. Megan, girl... I was gonna write a speech about how you deserve this but then I was like, 'There's no way they're going to choose me,' I was like, 'It's hers.' You deserve this. You had a year that I think is unstoppable. You are a queen. I want to cry thinking about how much I love you. You're so beautiful. You're so talented."
You really do love to see it.
Other notable history-making appearances of the night included K-Pop group BTS.
7-piece Korean boy band, Bangtan Sonyeondan, became the first K-Pop group to perform one of their own nominated songs, "Dynamite" at the award show. Last year, we saw BTS assist Lil Nas X during "Old Town Road" and this year, they came as nominated guests as well as performers. We love the growth. Hopefully the future is bright for the group.
Now, would it be a historic night without the queen of the music industry?
Beyonce left her mark on the night after she officially became the female artist with the most Grammy awards to her name.
The singer now has a massive twenty-eight Grammys under her belt.
4 of those precious wins came last night as she was awarded Best Music Video, Best R&B Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.
But she wasn't the only one...
Her daughter, Blue Ivy also got her first win alongside her mom and Wizkid for Best Music Video too!
All in all, the night played host to some incredible events... But we need to talk about one of them in particular.

Before the night even got fully started, Julia Michaels already left her mark on the event by proudly showing off her armpit hair on the red carpet while posing with her current boyfriend, JP Saxe.
Now, why would something like that be considered "controversial"?
Well, society has trained women to be hairless creatures so any bit of hair on their bodies, whether it be their legs, their arms or their armpits, it really seems to grab people's attention.
And while Michaels was generally praised for her actions, let's take the time to remember how others before her weren't.
Remember when Julia Roberts made a similar statement back in 1999 on the red carpet of Notting Hill? Even though the actress said she did not intend to make such a powerful mark, she unconsciously did so. It became a heavy talking point at the time and 2 decades later, it seems as though it is finally being normalized.
Not for everyone, but the majority of people praised Julia Michaels, especially her boyfriend who posted a tweet in which he claimed he was "obsessed" with her.
And of course, we were all too!
