Vice-president elect Kamala Harris has today slammed Donald Trump for the controversial contents of his leaked call with Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger...

And it's needless to say that the president is going to have a lot to say about it.

Now, as you will all know, this year's presidential election was perhaps the most anticipated in decades...

And, as Trump and Biden went head-to-head, a record number of Americans made sure to get their votes in early.

Trump was clearly feeling the heat, though...

And, as the counts went underway, he tried to temporarily stop vote-counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, states where Joe Biden was projected to win.

He also called for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...

And then went on to threaten legal action against any state wherein Biden had won.

But, regardless of his many threats, the results were in after 4 long days of ballot counting.

The Associated Press called the race for Biden when Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes put him over the 270-vote threshold needed to win the Electoral College.

Shortly after his victory, Biden Tweeted this:

"America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a president for all Americans - whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me."

But, quite predictably, Trump's reaction to Biden's win has been nothing short of outrageous...

And, as the days turned into weeks, people simply couldn't believe his ongoing refusal to accept what happened.

His first response to Biden's win was to release a lengthy and damning statement...

In which he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. As per Sky News, the statement read: “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. “The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. “In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process.  Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."

With more accusations to follow...

Trump seemed set on the idea that Biden and his team rigged the entire election to play out in their favor, and made strong hints that something happened in the counting rooms that had "never happened before."

Though his many claims of electoral fraud have remained unproven.

While Trump has consistently slammed the Biden campaign of "fraudulent votes," he has yet to provide any actual evidence.

And then, there was that all-important update to throw a spanner in Trump's fraud theory.

The U.S Electoral College confirmed Joe Biden as the official winner of the 2020 presidential elections.

They confirmed that Joe Biden received more than the 270 electoral colleges needed to take over the White House.

The president-elect has 203 college votes, and Hawaii's electors are due to bring him up to the forecast 306 votes. They added that California was the state to push him over the edge with its fifty-five electors.

So, as you can see, Trump hasn't been having the best time as of late...

And then, just to kick start 2021, there came that leaked phone call.

Trump hit the headlines this week after the Washington Post obtained and released a recording of a phone call...

In which the outgoing president can be heard speaking to the Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger.

In the damning phone call, Trump can be heard asking Raffensperger to "find" votes in the state of Georgia...

In a last-ditch attempt to overturn the election result.

While falsely insisting that he had won Georgia in the election, Trump can be heard stressing a number of unfounded claims...

And, at one point, he tells Raffensperger that he could be held criminally liable if he refused to report the truth.

Of course, the leaked call has been met with shock and outrage...

And now, vice-president-elect Kamala Harris has weighed in on the controversy.

At a drive-thru rally in Savannah, Georgia, on Sunday, Harris asked the crowd:

"Have you all heard about that recorded conversation? Well, it was, yes, certainly, the voice of desperation, most certainly that..."

She then slammed Trump's actions as an "abuse of power."

"It was a bald, bald-faced, bold abuse of power by the President of the United States." She then criticized Trump's unverified allegations of voter fraud, adding: "Look at the most recent history, which is that after you elected, you turned Georgia blue, you elected Joe Biden President of the United States, you elected the first black woman in the history of our country to be the Vice President of the United States. And [Republicans] have the gall to suggest you didn't know what you were doing, you must have gone about it in a way that was illegitimate."
