Kate Winslet has opened up about her experience of shooting for Avatar‘s sequel.
The British actress is set to appear in Avatar: The Way of Water, which will come out later this year.
She is part of a whole sleuth of actors that are joining the franchise for the sequel.
Winslet revealed that she held her breath for 7 minutes while underwater during filming for the movie.

Hunter, aged forty-nine, said: “Our journey as family has been very traumatic and I just feel done at this point in my life.

“I didn’t speak out to get donations but at the same time I have to make sure that Freya is OK.
“I’m going to be helped but what about everyone else?
“I wanted the government to pay for it and do the right thing,” she added.

Like the name suggests, much of the movie happens underwater, and so did the acting!
Winslet actually broke a record with her attempt, managing to hold her breath for a whopping 7 minutes, as per ABC.
Previously, this was held by Tom Cruise for his work on Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.
Her co-star Chris Worthington said that director James Cameron “is raising the bar on storytelling, because when you’re underwater, you can’t use words to do these heartbreaking scenes.
“You’re having to use true emotion and true feelings and a tactile response to get this message across.”
