Katy Perry has opened up about the strange malfunction she suffered during the middle of a recent concert…
Perry has poked fun at conspiracy theorists after a clip of the singer went viral showing something rather bizarre.
It led to some wacky allegations that the figure on stage wasn’t the star at all…
The fan-filmed snippet comes from a show of the star’s recent concert residency, titled Play.
And after spotting the many different conspiracy theories floating around the internet, Perry finally addressed the bizarre video.

Now, who doesn’t know Katy Perry?
Since the star was first signed to a label in 2004, the pop sensation has become a household name in the music industry.
It was her 2008 album One of the Boys that really catapulted the singer to stardom.

Instead, fans are obsessing over a bizarre clip where Perry seems to be malfunctioning!
The TikTok shows Perry on stage in her iconic soda can costume, but something is evidently wrong with the star’s face.
She appears to be pausing for breath after finishing a song, but fans also spotted that the star seems unable to keep her right eye open.
She can be seen tapping her temples in an attempt to keep her eye open, but fails to multiple times.
Eventually, Perry manages to keep both eyes open, and continues on with the show.
The moment struck fans as an incredibly strange incident.
So, naturally, it has gone viral!
Fans have been theorizing about what could have possibly been wrong with the star…
One came up with a rather rational response: “It’s her eyelash glue getting stuck to her bottom lid happens to me all the time.”
Another agreed it was down to her makeup, writing: “Katy has false lashes on in this. It’s likely there’s something in her eye, or bothering her eye, but she can’t rub them because it will ruin her make up.”
However, others were bolder with their guesses, with one person saying: “Her clone was glitching. That’s scary.”
A fourth seemed to blame her eye malfunction on getting the Covid-19 vaccine: “She got that Pfizer eye.”
While another suggested that it wasn’t even Katy on stage, but her replica: “That looks like a glitch in programming.”

Well, it seems Perry has heard the conspiracy theories being thrown around, and now the singer has addressed the bizarre on-stage glitch…
The star took to Instagram to poke fun at all the wild comments.
Sharing a video of her performance, she captioned the post: “Welcoming all my #flatearthers #spaceisfakers #birdsarentrealers #skyisntbluers to come see my broken doll eye party trick IRL in Vegas next year!”
“The show’s set list is a fun [ride] through memory lane going all the way back to 2008, a time when we weren’t all frozen by the paranoia of our own echo chambers!
“This show is a nonstop party about finding unconditional love and strangely (for me) not political at all, heck I pour beer out of my t*ts (that’s a party trick too… I don’t actually lactate hops silly goose!).
“Hope to sing along with you in 2023! And we’ll drink, this one’s on me, ’cause we’re all.”
