Previously, Reeves stole the hearts of many in the first John Wick movie…
Hence, why the actor’s been roped in for the fourth instalment of the franchise, but things are little different this time round.
The trailer for John Wick 4 has already grabbed eyeballs and Reeves is pretty chuffed with the response…
“I read the script. It’s really, really cool. As much as it’s the same world as the other three films, it’s just deeper,” he said.
“It’s much deeper in terms of the code of the assassin and the relationship that he has with one character in particular who I think Mr. Watanabe is playing… is really the heart and soul of it,” Reeves said.
Although fans will have to wait a while to see it as reports have confirmed the movie is not due to be released until March 24 next year.
But fans can keep calm for now as a new spin-off to the John Wick series starring Ana De Armas is to be released.
And it’s all about television roles these days for our Hollywood hunks…
As according to LADbible, the series is titled Ballerina and will portray “a young assassin” whose on a mission to seek revenge on those who killed her family.
Interestingly, Reeves’ television role in Devil in the City, has been in the pipeline for a while now and Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly purchased the rights to the novel a decade ago with the original desire to turn it into a film.
But plans have changed and there is still no set start date for the film which will now be introduced as a series on Hulu…
According to reports, DiCaprio was due to play the role of Holmes when the project was being made into a film, but an actor has yet to be decided for the role of Burnham.
Produced by Martin Scorsese, the acton series will showcase “the architect of the 1893 World’s Fair and the serial killer H.H. Holmes.”
As well as narrating the story based on Erik Larson’s non-fiction novel.
Reeves has been “linked up” with two other Hollywood actors…
And will reportedly star in the series alongside them.
