Kelly Rowland, of Destiny’s Child fame, has something to say about that ‘Today’ Show moment.

Kelly Rowland, you know, the Kelly Rowland, had a moment on the ‘Today’ Show.

The Destiny’s Child alum skipped out on the ‘Today’ Show co-hosting gig, and fans have been left wondering why.

Some wondered if her exit was due to the Beyoncé questions she got.

Rowland and Beyoncé have been best friends since their Destiny’s Child days.

And while Rowland loves Beyoncé, she’s well-known for preferring not to speak on Beyoncé’s career.

The two have been incredibly supportive of one another over the years, though, attending events and premieres for one another at every chance.

The dynamic singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality, rose to fame as one-third of the iconic girl group Destiny’s Child.

Destiny’s Child quickly became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, achieving global success with hit singles like “Say My Name,” “Survivor,” and “Bootylicious.”

After Destiny’s Child disbanded in 2005, Rowland embarked on a successful solo career, releasing her debut solo album, “Simply Deep.”

The album featured the smash hit single “Dilemma” with rapper Nelly.

In addition to her music career, Rowland ventured into acting.

In case you missed it, Kelly Rowland went on the ‘Today’ Show to promote her new Netflix movie, Mea Culpa.

Interviewing with Savannah Guthrie, Rowland had to awkwardly sidestep questions about Beyoncé.

Rowland was meant to appear as a co-host alongside Hoda Kotb in the show’s fourth hour.

But when the fourth hour began, Hoda was speaking to Rita Ora about her new bob, and Rowland was nowhere to be found.

Rita Ora quickly took over for Rowland, becoming the co-host for the hour.
The “Don’t Think Twice” singer revealed that before jumping on the show, she didn’t just style her hair, she chopped it all off!

With approval from hair guru Jonathan Van Ness, of course!

There was plenty of speculation about what, exactly, caused Rowland to leave.

Some sources suggested it might be her dressing room.

But most fans preferred the Beyoncé theory.
What happened in her words…

During an interview with WGN News in Chicago, Rowland was asked directly about the controversy.

She was on the show to promote her new Netflix film, Mea Culpa.

The anchor asked her if she could clear up the situation that occurred on the ‘Today’ Show.

Sticking to her guns, Rowland pretty much refused to speak on the matter.

Rowland said she won’t speak on it because she wants to keep the attention on her upcoming film.

It seems, however, that the truth has been discovered.

It turns out, she really wasn’t happy with her dressing room.

Hoda and the ‘Today’ Show has invited Rowland back to co-host sometime in the future.

So far, it seems like Rowland will take them up on the offer!
