Kendall Jenner Looks Completely Different with New Hairstyle

Supermodel, Kendall Jenner, is definitely no stranger to the beauty and fashion spotlight, but when it comes to her hair, she usually keeps it relatively low-key.

While the second half of the Kardashian-Jenner-duo, Kylie Jenner, opts for bold, experimental colours – Kendall tends to favor a more natural style.

However, the model posted a picture to her Instagram debuting a brand-new look and she looks completely different.

The fresh-faced KUWTK star kicked off her hair evolution a decade ago. Jenner kept it natural – maintaining a longer length and subtle waves as she attended the 2009 Teen Vogue 8th Annual Young Hollywood party.

Arriving at Variety’s 4th Annual Power of Youth Event, the then fifteen-year-old maintained her natural, long locks, this time sporting a sleek, straight hairstyle.

The star swapped her classic beach-wave style for a bohemian-inspired fishtail braid while accompanying younger sister, Kylie Jenner, to the Twilight: Breaking Dawn premiere in Los Angeles.

Continuing to ditch free-falling hair for a classic up-do, the supermodel walked the red carpet donning her favorite top knot hairstyle – a look that quickly became a trademark for the star around this time.

Jenner kept it simple with a slicked-back ponytail at the KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2012 in Los Angeles.

In 2013, Jenner reverted back to the classic straight hairstyle with added texture at the annual American Music Awards. The star turned heads, pairing this simple hairstyle with a bold, red lip.

The model showcased a slightly shorter length with textured beach-ready waves as she attended the launch of her PacSun holiday collection at the PacSun Glendale Galleria.

The biggest day in the fashion and beauty calendar certainly didn’t disappoint as the supermodel walked the “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” Met Gala red-carpet sporting a voluminous hairstyle – veering away from her usual paired-back look.

Debuting a very different look, Jenner wore bangs in this unusual take on her trademark top knot as she attended the 2015 American Music Awards.

The star shows off a slightly shorter cut paired with her go-to natural waves at the launch of Kendall+Kylie at Forever New.

Jenner attended the Billboard Music Awards with her dark locks styled in a wet-effect look – a consistent go-to for the model from this point onwards.

The supermodel poses backstage at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret fashion show showing off smooth waves, which celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa said were achieved using the “Beachwaver” curling iron.

The extreme wet-effect hairstyle marks a new experimental era for the model as she walks for the Givenchy SS17 show at Paris Fashion Week.

Jenner debuted her famous “lob” hairstyle at the Total Registration Live event in Times Square.

Jenner walked for Marc Jacobs sporting pastel-toned wool dreadlocks – a look that faced backlash for so-called cultural appropriation. Designer, Marc Jacobs, faced criticizm for sending white models, including Jenner, with dreadlocks down the runway in his New York Fashion Week show. Though the designer said that the look was inspired by rave culture, London ’80s fashion and Harajuku girls, he was slammed for casting mostly white models to wear the dreadlocks.

The supermodel showed off her new, shorter locks backstage at the Michael Kors Spring 2017 Runway Show. This time, Jenner opted for a side parting – an unusual choice for the star, who normally goes for a simple middle parting.

The model brought back her signature top knot for the The 5th Quarter premiere. This time, Jenner swapped her usually-sleek style for a messy, relaxed up-do, drawing influence from her own street style.

Jenner has her hair styled in a clean-cut, blunt bob for the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Usually one to stick to an “au naturel” style in the hair department, the star mixed up her trademark style by accessorizing using a simple polka dolt hair clip – a trend that’s gained huge momentum over the last year.

Jenner stole the show at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, showcasing this ’90s take on the classic top knot.

She turned heads with this voluminous hairstyle, featuring bouncy waves at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party this year.

The twenty-three-year-old posted the image to her Instagram in February with the caption “yes, no, maybe so?”, a nod to her indecisive ways when it comes to bangs (remember in 2015 when she opted for a similar style at the AMA’s?).

After the star posted the picture, one fan commented “Is that Kris,” joking about how much the model looks like her mom, Kris Jenner.

The star has experimented with the idea of bangs a lot recently, posting this image in December of her rocking the hairstyle.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look likely, as soon after, Jenner reverted back to her usual “bangless” hairstyle. She was seen last week sporting her trademark mid-length, wavy locks at the amfAR Cannes Gala 2019.
