Kim Kardashian has revealed that a month after failing the baby bar exam, she has gone on to fail it for a second time. She disclosed the news during the finale episode of the famous reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has failed the baby bar exam on her second try, even doing a little worse than her first try.
The reality star and businesswoman revealed the results of her test Thursday night on the series finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Kim has to pass this exam before she can have the chance to sit for the regular bar exam, which gives her a license to practice law.
She found out whilst on the phone with attorneys Erin Haney and Jessica Jackson, who have both help prep her for the exam.
Kim has previously stated that she sometimes studies over 10 hours a day to be a lawyer.
During an episode back in March, the 40-year-old opened up about her study process ahead of the baby bar exam for law school. Kim updated fans about her law school experience, sharing that her four kids were spending time with their father at his Wyoming home as she spent time with her family. She said in a confessional interview: "It's the hardest thing for me to be away from the kids, but I have to really dedicate myself and do it."
After sharing she studied "ten and a half hours" a day, Kim said: "Because I'm in law school in an untraditional way, after year one you have to take the baby bar, which is a one day version of the bar."
The reality star continued: "The test is seven hours long and has four-hour-long essays that you have to write and then it has 300 multiple-choice questions."
Upon receiving the bad news, Kim went from being excited to "totally bummed."
The fact that she took it twice shows her perseverance. Maybe she will pass the third time. If someone is trying to better their life I don’t think we should be making fun. It’s not about failing, it’s about getting back up and trying again.— Toni (@_trulytoni) June 11, 2021
Kim says she failed with a score of 463, which is slightly lower than the 474 she got on her first attempt at the test. Students need a 560 to pass.
The reality star has been actively campaigning for prison reform and is currently studying to take the bar exam in 2022. Last year she revealed why she wants to be a lawyer during an interview with CR Fashion Book.
"My evolution on this is probably some combination of growing up, getting married, having kids, and my life being so different than what it was when I was starting out,"
"Now, I feel like I have a duty to myself and to my children more than the public and I want to be a good role model for my kids," she continued. "I'm raising four black kids in this society and our system is so discriminatory against black and people of color.
"I want to do as much as I can to make their lives easier," she added. "I never knew much about the system until I started to dig in, and once I learned and saw how many things were wrong, I really couldn't stop."
In 2018, Kardashian was inspired to start studying law after hearing the story of Alice Marie Johnson, a then-63-year-old woman from Tennessee serving a life sentence as a first-time nonviolent offender.

Kim eventually assisted in persuading former President Trump to grant Johnson clemency, leading to her release in 2018.
However, her father Robert Kardashian was a lawyer.
Robert Kardashian was one of the most famous lawyers in America, nay the world after he assisted in the OJ Simpson 1995 murder trial.
Robert Kardashian had let his license to practice law become inactive before the Simpson case but reactivated it to aid in Simpson's defense as a volunteer assistant on his legal team, alongside Simpson's main defense attorneys, Robert Shapiro and Johnnie Cochran.
Simpson was charged with the murders and subsequently acquitted of all criminal charges.
Robert Kardashian passed his bar exam on the first try.
Third times a charm, Kim!
