For many months now, people have been calling for Kristen Stewart to play the Joker in the new Batman movie alongside her ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson.
And at last, she has responded…
But it’s not exactly what people wanted to hear.
Now, who hasn’t watched a Batman movie?
Pretty much everyone has, right?
The fictional character has appeared in various films over the years…
The first is 2 serial films released in the 1940’s Batman and Batman and Robin.
Since then, the franchise has continued to get bigger and bigger…
With the release of the likes of The Dark Knight, Justice League, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
It’s safe to say the movies have been a hit with fans around the world.
And Batman has now become a household name.
Batman fans are currently waiting for the release of the latest movie…
Due to be released in March 2022, the upcoming film from The Batman universe will see Robert Pattinson become our next Dark Knight.
Taking over the role from Ben Affleck, Pattinson will star as Bruce Wayne and his alter ego in Matt Reeves’ 2022 film The Batman.
I wonder if Affleck gave Pattinson any advice?
People appear to be pretty excited about Pattinson’s role in the movie…
Particularly after the recent trailer release that showed Pattinson taking down bad guys while outnumbered.
But despite being excited about the movie, there is one thing that people want to see which, unfortunately, they will not…
Kristen Stewart as the Joker.
That’s right, people have been calling for Kristen Stewart, who previously dated Pattinson, to be cast as the Joker in the upcoming Batman movie.
The pair also previously worked together during the making of The Twilight Saga.
The calls have been ongoing for many months now, and at last Stewart has responded to them…
But, it’s not good news.
Stewart spoke with Variety where she answered the question that people have been wondering…
Would she play the Joker?
It seems not as she told the outlet: “Let’s do something new.”
“I love the energy behind that,” Stewart said. “It’s really been done so well. I feel like, maybe, we don’t traipse over, but I love that gusto. Let’s figure something else out. I’m totally down to play a freaky, scary person.”
But when asked if it was a definitive no, Stewart responded:
“Not ‘no,’ but not the most stoked I’ve ever been. Let’s do something new.”
Do you think she would make a good Joker?
