Prosecuters are, as we speak, seeking an arrest warrant for eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse...

Because, unbelievably, they can't find him...

Even though he is being charged with shooting and killing 2 people, as well as seriously injuring one other.

Now, Rittenhouse first made headlines back in August 2020 when he attended the aftermath of a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Jacob Blake, an African-American man who was peacefully protesting on August 23rd, was shot 4 times in the back by a Kenosha police officer after he was tasered.

He is now paralyzed from the waist down.

The shooting of Jacob only added to the number of high-profile shootings and killings of Black people as a result of law enforcement here in America...

And of course, it poured even more fuel on the fire.

So, how does this involve Kyle Rittenhouse?

Rittenhouse, who is from Antioch in Illinois, was described as having participated in local police cadet programs and expressing support on social media for the "Blue Lives Matter" movement and law enforcement.

On the day when he attended one of the BLM protests in Kenosha, the teenager appeared in multiple videos by protesters and bystanders, including in 2 interviews:

One by a livestreamer at a car dealership where he and a number of other armed men had stationed themselves, and the other by Daily Caller reporter, Richie McGinniss.

Rittenhouse was seen talking to police officers and helping those who were injured in the aftermath of the protest...

And according to his attorneys, after he had heard about a local business owner who wanted help defending his car dealership, he and his friend Dominick David Black "armed themselves with rifles" and went to that business.

"So, people are getting injured, and our job is to protect this business. Part of my job is also to help people. If there is somebody hurt, I'm running into harm's way. That's why I have my rifle because I have to protect myself, obviously. I also have my med kit," he said to McGinniss in the quick interview.

But when things started to get violent between law enforcement and protestors...

Rittenhouse ended up shooting and killing 2 people - Kenosha resident Joseph Rosenbaum, thirty-six, and Silver Lake resident Anthony Huber, twenty-six.

And according to McGinniss, it seemed that Rosenbaum and other protesters were moving toward Rittenhouse, who was trying to evade them.

The remainder of Rosenbaum's confrontation, and the following incidents with Huber and Grosskreutz, were recorded in cellphone footage from multiple angles, including the moments of the shooting.

West Allis resident Gaige Grosskreutz, twenty-six, was also shot by Rittenhouse...

He lost his bicep, but reconstructive surgery enabled him to keep his arm and ultimately saved his life.

On August 26th, Rittenhouse turned himself in on charges of first-degree intentional homicide in his home state of Illinois following outrage on social media...

And he was labeled as a "fugitive from justice" in the criminal complaint, which alleged that he "fled the state of Wisconsin with intent to avoid prosecution for that offense."

He was held in a juvenile detention facility before posting $2 million bail...

Which was shockingly fundraised and paid for by numerous far-right figures and supporters - resulting in him being released.

Although Rittenhouse has murdered 2 people...

So many people continue to rally behind him and insist on his innocence.

Please just take a moment to imagine what the public reaction would have been if Rittenhouse was a Black man... it would have been a completely different situation, wouldn't it?

And on January 5th, Rittenhouse pleaded not guilty to all of his charges.

Later that day, the teen was spotted drinking in a bar with his mom - all while brandishing a slogan t-shirt reading: "Free as F***."

Regardless of Rittenhouse's supposed freedom...

As reported by The Guardian, prosecutors said, "He posted no money so he has no financial stake in the bond. He is already facing the most serious possible criminal charges and life in prison, so in comparison, potential future criminal penalties are insignificant."

But now, Rittenhouse's case has taken an unexpected turn...

As prosecutors reportedly can't find him after he violated his bail, and people have been left utterly gobsmacked.

As per a motion filed with Judge Bruce Schroeder on February 3rd, Rittenhouse failed to inform the court of his change of address within forty-eight hours of moving...

Which is one of the conditions of his bail.

This meant the court and Kenosha Police officers were unable to find him.

Kenosha County prosecutors wrote:

"Due to the defendant's violation of his bond condition, the state respectfully requests the following: that the court issue a warrant for the defendant's arrest and increase his bond by $200,000; that the court order the defendant to update his address in writing with the Clerk of Court immediately."

Due to the fact Rittenhouse didn't contribute to his bond, prosecutors have also aired concerns about him fleeing

Detainees in Illinois generally need to pay at least ten percent of their own bail, but due to different rules in Wisconsin, his supporters were able to, shockingly, supply the full sum.

This is a developing story so make sure to stay posted for updates.
