The debate as to whether Tupac Shakur is alive or dead has raged on for years.

Did he really die in the Vegas shooting? Is he living out the rest of his days in Cuba? Did he come back from the dead like a modern-day Jesus? No one really knows.

For years, fans have insisted that they have “seen” Tupac in various locations around the world…

But they are usually dismissed or shut down with a more reasonable explanation.

But now, an arrest has finally been made in his murder.

Which could bring an end to the conspiracy theories.

Could it be true?

The late musician was embroiled in a feud between East Coast and West Coast rappers and was murdered in a drive-by shooting in September of 1996, leaving behind an influential musical legacy at the young age of twenty-five.

But the question of who killed Tupac was a longstanding mystery.

Many people believed that rival rapper, Biggie Smalls, was behind the murder of Tupac. The rapper had believed he’d organized a prior shooting, in which he had luckily escaped unharmed, a couple of months earlier.

And many people — die-hard Tupac fans in particular — have resorted to some quite interesting conspiracy theories.

Because his murder has never been solved, conspiracy theories have raged ever since Tupac was shot.

With many fans speculating that the rapper faked his own death to get out of the gang wars.

Some say he’s still alive…

And is simply living in a different country under a completely new identity.

Others say he’s been in hiding.

Many different theories as to where Tupac could be hiding out have been brought forward. Some believe he could be living out his days in Cuba.

A 2010 interview with Treach, a fellow rapper, and friend of Tupac, found him answering a supposedly off-the-record question of “Is Tupac really dead?” with a seemingly assured statement: “Last time I saw him he was in Cuba, man.”

There have been many supposed “Tupac sightings”. Yes, people claim to have actually seen the rapper out and about…

One Twitter user was sure they spotted the rapper while fueling up, writing: “I SWEAR I JUST SAW TUPAC AT THE GAS STATION #tupacisalive.”

But just how legitimate these “sightings” are is another question entirely…

People really want him to be alive.

From Cuba to Somalia, to South Africa, and even several locations across the US, countless people have claimed to have seen Tupac alive and well throughout the past decade.

Suge Knight’s son has made claims the rapper is alive and well.

As we know, Tupac was in the car with Suge Knight when he was killed shortly after watching Mike Tyson fight Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Knight, who is partway through his twenty-eight-year jail sentence for a hit-and-run, reportedly convinced Tupac to go to the fight.

And since the rapper’s tragic death, Knight’s son has shared many rumors that he’s still alive.

Back in 2018, Knight Jr made claims that he was now living in Malaysia.

He took to social media to share photos of Tupac along with other celebrities and alleged the rapper was still alive.

Speaking to Yahoo in 2019, Knight Jr opened up about the reaction his claims got online, sharing: “When I said it, the whole world stopped moving.

“Everybody was like, ‘What’s going on?’ I went and got 200,000 followers within two days. And I was like, ‘Wow, like this is, this is crazy. Germany’s calling me [to do interviews], and I don’t even speak German.’

“So, I don’t even know what to do. Pretty much the reason why I did it, there’s a purpose for it, and you actually have to tune into the show to see why.”

But now, there’s been an arrest in the case.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested early on Friday morning in Las Vegas.

A formal indictment is expected later on Friday, according to Sky.
