It seems that Brad Pitt and his eldest son, Maddox, are going through a rocky patch, as it’s been reported their relationship is “non-existent.”
The news comes amid Brad’s recent interview where he gushed over his daughter, Shiloh’s viral dance routine.
As we know, Brad is a proud dad of 6, however, it seems as though he’s going through a bit of a rough patch with his eldest.

While Brad Pitt is an extraordinary actor…
He is also known famously for being married to Angelina Jolie.
Now, of course, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were a Hollywood dream team.
Brad and Angelina famously met while filming Mr and Mrs Smith. They quickly hit it off and, despite the fact that Brad was still married, they couldn’t fight their feelings.
The pair quickly became the power couple.
Many commented that Jen and Angelina couldn’t really look (or be) any more different – which fueled a lot of drama at the time.
They were loved for their adorable family, too.
Because they quickly amassed a huge brood of children, some through adoption and some through birth.
Angelina adopted Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt from Cambodia in 2002 when he was just 7 months old.
And she then adopted Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt in 2005 in Ethiopia. Her mother had become sick from salmonella, and subsequently, left her.
Some suspect that the relationship between Angelina and Brad may have been a little strained at the time, hence bringing children into their lives.
But, this didn’t stop them welcoming Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, their first biological child, into the world in 2006.
Their first biological child garnered a lot of press coverage when she was born.
The pair were already parents to adopted children Maddox and Zahara when news surrounding Angelina’s pregnancy shook the world.
It was so intense for the couple that they traveled to Namibia specifically for the baby’s birth.
After their daughter was born, the first photos of the baby sold for millions of dollars, which Brad and Angelina then gave to charity.
Everyone was excited to see what Shiloh would grow up to look like, having such stunning parents.
And the public believed that another star was born.
But, Angelina didn’t stop there when it came to growing her heard.
In 2007, the couple adopted Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, from Vietnam, when he was just 3 years old.
And then, to complete the herd, Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, were welcomed into the world in 2008.
But, problems continued to rise for the couple.
And though not all details have been released to the public… It’s clear that there are a lot of ill-feelings between the pair.
Some even believed that the kids were part of the couple’s issues.
Many thought that Brad never wanted to be a father to such a large brood, but went along with it because of his love for Angelina.
And it seemed like the kids were stuck in the middle.
Although they remained pretty tight-lipped about the goings-on in the divorce.
Divorce is never easy on the kids.
But Brad and Angelina are trying their best to co-parent.
And in spite of some dramas, the family seemed to be working through it.
And have fully supported their kids throughout it all.
Alongside the pairs adopted kids …
Angelina is pictured here with Pax and Maddox.
Angelina and Brad also share 3 biological children.
Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
Since their divorce, the pair have tried to remain as civil as possible.
And each has gone on to work on many different movies.
Angelina has recently appeared in Marvel’s Eternals, as the immortal alien being, Thena.
While Brad’s latest venture is set to come out pretty soon.
He has been working on the new movie Bullet Train, alongside fellow actors; Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Zazie Beetz, and Bad Bunny.
The movie is centered around 5 assassins, who are all aboard a train to complete separate missions, however, it turns out they’re all connected one way or another.
Sony’s synopsis reads: “In Bullet Train, Brad stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails.
“Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe – all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives – on the world’s fastest train.
“The end of the line is just the beginning in this non-stop thrill-ride through modern-day Japan from David Leitch, the director of Deadpool 2.”
Brad made an appearance at the premiere wearing a skirt.
In doing so, he revealed his leg tattoos.
The tattoos that could be seen on his shins were of a rhino and a human skull.
Little is known about the meaning behind them, but they look good nonetheless.
He then responded to comments asking why he chose to wear a skirt…
When questioned on the red carpet, he had the best response.
“Breeze… the breeze.”
And while his comment left fans amused, it’s his most recent red carpet interview that’s got everyone talking.
On Monday, during his Los Angeles premiere for the movie, Brad opened up about his daughter, Shiloh.
What he had to say was heartwarming.
A lot of you might remember when Shiloh went viral for a dance that was posted online…
For those who don’t know, a video was posted to YouTube, showing the teen strutting her stuff at the Millennium Dance Complex in Studio City.
And it seems Brad is incredibly proud of his daughter, who he calls “beautiful.”
He told ET that her dance routine “brings a tear to the eye, yeah.”
“I don’t know where she got it from. I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet here,” he joked.
You can watch his reaction here.
And while his comments about Shiloh have been applauded by fans, it seems that things aren’t going great with his eldest.
When Brad and Angelina first filed for divorce in 2016, reports came out suggesting their split had something to do with Maddox.
I think we all remember the abuse claims that were thrown around about Brad and Maddox aboard their private jet.
Brad was later cleared of the charges, but the divorce ensued.
It was assumed that their relationship had been struggling ever since, but in 2020, Brad chose to leave the BAFTA Awards, instead meeting up with his son.
According to The Sun, a source told them: “Maddox gave Brad the chance to talk and he dropped everything.”
However, a couple of months later, a source for Us Weekly shared that their relationship was “nonexistent.”
In 2021, an In Touch source revealed Brad’s biggest regret is “the fractured relationships he’s had with all his children, but Maddox is the toughest,” adding that he “hasn’t given up hope” on mending their bond.
They also shared that Brad “really misses Maddox” and “has hit a wall” in trying to reconcile with him.
Despite this, his relationships with his other children seem to be going well.
