NYPD Lieutenant Reportedly Transferred From Precinct After Receiving Dance From Rookie Officer

An NYPD lieutenant has been transferred from the precinct after a he received a dance from a rookie officer.

The lieutenant has been reassigned while an investigation looking into the incident is underway.

A video has emerged showing 44th Precinct Lieutenant Nick McGarry receiving a dance from a new female officer, the New York Post reports.

Footage shows the rookie cop wearing a black-and-white miniskirt and black knee-high boots as she dances on her lieutenant.

In the video somebody in the crowd can be heard shouting “Oh, my God!” as McGarry receives the dance while sat in the middle of room.

The rookie officer then shakes her bum at the married lieutenant and even straddles him as he rests his hands on her thighs at times.

Following the dance, McGarry stood up and gave the officer a hug.

A source told the New York Post that McGarry “knows he f***ed up.”

“Messing with your subordinate is a no-no on the job,” the source said. “[The rookie cop] doesn’t know any better because she just came on the job. I can’t even tell you how many times they tell incoming supervisors that.”

An investigation has since been launched by the NYPD into the incident.
