Lindsay Lohan is officially returning our screens, and the internet couldn’t be happier about it.

Here are all the details on the upcoming flick…

Now, who doesn’t know Lindsay Lohan?

The actress first hit our screens aged just ten years old with her regular appearance on the television soap opera, Another World.

Before leaving to star in Disney’s comedy, The Parent Trap…

Where her career began to take off.

Lohan has quite the resumé…

With acting roles in the likes of Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

And of course, we can’t forget her iconic role in Mean Girls…

Where Lohan starred as Cady Heron, a sixteen-year-old girl who transfers to a public high school after being homeschooled her whole life.

But, Lohan hasn’t exactly had the easiest of times during her fame and fortune…

Since she rose to fame, the actress has had her fair share of stints involving legal troubles and rehab.

Her troubles with her finances and addictions became a worldwide news report, and similarly to Britney Spears, Lindsay’s breakdown was publicized heavily.

These struggles sent her to 5 different rehab facilities for a total of 250 days since January 2007, and she has also served at least 6 months of jail time due to drink driving.

Lindsay has continuously worked her way through them and, right now, she’s in a pretty good place.

So much so, that she’s even set to make a come back.

Lohan will be returning to our screens with her part in a new Netflix romantic comedy film.

And it’s safe to say, people are excited…

Netflix announced the news on Twitter, writing:

“Lindsay Lohan will star in a new romantic comedy about a newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress who finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter after getting total amnesia in a skiing accident.”

The movie is set to start production in November, Variety reports.
