One little boy was in for a big surprise when he got paid for helping electricians work on his house.

The Instagram post will melt your heart…

Theo was beyond excited when he found out he would have electricians working at his house.

But he never expected them to reward him for all his hard work…

The 5-year-old from the UK helped staff at Seytons Electrical for a whole 6 weeks, where he would measure, make refreshments, and just be his inquisitive self…

Despite everything he did to help, Theo still couldn’t believe it when he received a payslip with £15 ($20) inside.

And the heartwarming post has left everyone feeling the love…

Theo’s mom, Laura-Nicole Anderson, explained that Theo was sad to see the workmen go, but amazed that he’d been given a wage.

The thirty-four-year-old said: “The first thing he said after ‘thank you’ was that he was happy as he wanted to go and buy his brother an Easter egg.”

Laura-Nicole, a writer and content creator, went on:

“From the second they arrived to check all electrical outlets he was obsessed with them, constant offers to help, asking if they wanted refreshments and asked them what they were doing every step of the way.

“It turned out to be a bigger job than expected and some work needed to be done on the shower and adding more sockets to the property so they had to schedule another couple of visits.”

“When they messaged to arrange a time I thought there was no chance I would get Theo to school while they were here. He ran home from school that day as he just couldn’t wait to see them! And was straight in there asking for jobs to do!”

She went on:

“Theo helped count the sockets in each room, assign them up as he went. He then turned all the sockets off (the electric was off and the electrician gave him the talk about electrical safety).

”He made them refreshments, forced cookies upon them, and insisted they gave him more jobs to do.

“Every question he asked they answered with such kindness, really making time for him despite being really busy.

“I cannot thank them enough, they made Theo so happy while here. Always made time for him and engaged in whatever it was he was asking about (he asked a lot of questions). We have never had workmen in before that have been so kind and attentive to Theo.

“He’s not had anybody in his house the whole pandemic so when they came he just couldn’t get enough.”

Laura concluded:

“Acts of kindness like this are so important, now more than ever. I strive to show Theo kindness and to instill that in him from a young age and that’s what he’s done here with the electricians.

“That kindness has found its way back to him and I couldn’t be more thankful. It is honestly the nicest gesture that we really weren’t expecting!

“It reminds you that there are good people in the world and that these two guys are brilliant examples of that. I think people needed to see that there is still good in the world, I know I sure did.”
