Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock seems to have caused a stir within her family for her recent Instagram posts.

It all started in 2011...

Born on 4 October 1991, Leigh-Anne Pinnock rose to fame in the British girl group, Little Mix, who skyrocketed to global stardom after winning the X-Factor nearly a decade ago.

They were the first group to ever win the show.

And their victory spurred on a chart-topping music career for the 4 Little Mix members - Leigh-Anne, Perrie, Jesy, and Jade.

But Little Mix very nearly didn't happen...

Following on from Leigh-Anne's solo audition, she and Jade Thirlwall were initially put in a group named "Orion," while Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson were placed in another group called "Faux Pas."

Both groups were eliminated from the show...

But the 4 later returned as the 4-piece group Rhythmix, where they progressed to the judges' houses stage in the competition.

They eventually reached the live shows...

And just weeks before their victorious final, the group announced that they were renamed as "Little Mix."

They have been one of the most successful acts to come out of the show...

The show helped propel the likes of One Direction to global superstardom, and Little Mix were certainly no exception.

The band has had hit after hit.

And collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business including the likes of Stormzy, Missy Elliot, Sean Paul, and Charlie Puth.

They now have a whopping 5 studio albums under their belt.

The girls' lives have been completely transformed from their X-Factor induced fame - and they've got a huge fanbase to show for it.

Leigh-Anne's Little Mix stardom hasn't been plain sailing, however.

The star has opened up about dealing with racism and feeling "invisible" for the first 3 years as the only Black girl in Little Mix.

She spoke about this in an interview with Glamour magazine back in March 2019.

"There comes a point in every black human’s life, no matter how much money you have or what you have achieved, you realize racism does not exclude you. 9 years ago, after joining Little Mix, I had the biggest awakening of my life. "When we were filming "Wings", we worked with [choreographer] Frank Gatson. He said to me, 'You’re the black girl, you have to work 10 times harder.' Never in my life had someone told me I would need to work harder because of my race."

Leigh-Anne says she always felt like she was the least favored member of the group.

"I learned that the dream of being in the biggest girl band in the world came with its flaws and consequences. "My reality was feeling lonely while touring predominantly white countries. I sang to fans who don't see me or hear me or cheer me on. My reality is feeling anxious before fan events and signings because I always feel like I’m the least favored."

She continued:

"My reality is constantly feeling like I have to work 10 times harder and longer to make my case in the group, because my talent alone isn't enough. My reality is all the times I felt invisible within my group. "Part of me is fully aware that my experience would have been even harder to deal with had I been dark-skinned. Our reality is no matter how far you think you’ve come, racism exists."

Leigh-Anne has been recently using social media to advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Sharing a link to a petition, she wrote: "Enough is ENOUGH… stop murdering our people. Now is the time for the whole world to wake up and take notice! Racism is RIFE not just in the US but the whole damn world. "We all deserve to feel safe especially when it comes to being around our police force who are supposed to serve and PROTECT… they are out here hunting black people and killing unarmed harmless people. NO JUSTICE NO PEACE."

The singer also took the time to speak out about systematic racism.

"When white people make up the majority of decision making power people of color are the ones that aren’t given a fair shot at life.  ‘Racism is built into every level of our society. Now it’s time for EVERYONE to use their voice to shout about it and expose it for what it is and it is evident in all of these ways: Wealth Employment Education Criminal justice Housing Surveillance Healthcare. "Systematic racism is REAL. Please I’m asking everyone that follows me, do your research, educate yourself, and keep the conversation going. We ALL need to fight to end it."

But fans have been quick to notice something else about her Instagram feed...

The star has been showing off her body in recent posts, and it seems that her family are not best pleased. Keep scrolling for the pics that ruffled their feathers...

Many of the singer's recent posts show her completely topless or in a bikini soaking up the sun.

And honestly, she can do whatever she wants on her Instagram!

But Leigh-Anne did admit that she got told off by her mom and sister for the posts.

The star revealed to The Mirror: "I posted the picture and my mum was like, 'Leigh- Anne! A bit much.'"

That wasn't all...

It seems one of her sisters wasn't overly impressed either.

Leigh-Anne admitted she feels "really bad" about her family's reaction.

But "At the same time… I feel people have done worse."

Her followers on the other hand...

Well, they certainly aren't complaining!

Here are some of the pictures that sparked it all...

She looks amazing!

She's living her best life.

You can check out more of her pics over on her Instagram. Billie Eilish recently uploaded a video in which she undresses, but some have dubbed it "heartbreaking." Keep scrolling to find out why...
