Lizzo Responds to Negative Comments About Her See-Through Dress

Earlier this week, the absolute icon that is Lizzo attended Cardi B’s big birthday bash sporting a sparkly see-through dress.

However instead of just getting on with their day a lot of people criticized Lizzo’s choice of outfit, but she ain’t having none of it.

Lizzo doesn’t care what you think about her.

And rightly so. We’re alive for what? Sixty, seventy, eighty years on average. Why should anybody care what people think about us? We’ve just got to live and be happy – and that’s what Lizzo’s all about.

Earlier this week Lizzo attended Cardi B’s birthday party.

My invite must’ve got lost in the post, but Lizzo was definitely there, sporting a very stylish sparkly see-through dress. But instead of being happy for her, some people decided to troll her.

Some trolls referred to her outfit as ‘disgusting’, but Lizzo hit back hard.

Taking to Instagram Live, Lizzo responded to her critics saying: “It’s very funny to me that people are upset that I’m wearing a see-through outfit or that I’m twerking in a see-through outfit. Don’t you have bills to pay? Don’t you got mouths to feed, including your own? Don’t you have a life to live? Don’t you want to fall in love and make friends? Don’t you got sh*t to do? Go read the news, b*tch, before I read you. The f*ck! Why are you worried about me?”

The singer added that she’s tired of people being disrespectful.

She went on:
“It seems like every single day somebody’s disrespecting somebody on the internet. Let people live, bro. Let people wear whatever the f*ck they wanna wear. I don’t give a f*** if people are mean to me. I’m rich…and I’m beautiful, and I have a beautiful family. I am good. I got friends who love me…. I’m not worried about y’all. I do this because y’all continually disrespect human beings like it’s a sport.”

Amen Lizzo!

There’s enough trouble in the world. Enough real trouble, genuine problems. Let’s just live and be happy. Wear what you want to wear, treat each other kindly, and have a laugh, because we’re only alive once.
