The 3rd episode of Loki has just dropped on Disney+, and I’m sure we were all surprised to see Loki’s sexuality at the forefront of the episode. Director Kate Herron has since addressed one of the biggest reveals in the MCU, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has been confirmed as bisexual.

The surprising moment came when Loki opened up to Sylvie on the train heading out of Laminitis. As they chatted over drinks, Sylvie tries to get a deeper understanding of Loki’s love life and what really makes him tick. She subsequently asks the God of Mischief if he’s ever had eyes for “would-be princesses or, perhaps, another prince.” Loki responds: “A bit of both. I suspect the same as you.”

And fans have gone wild for this revelation, especially as it was released during Pride month.

Herron revealed on Twitter that it was “important” that she made Loki’s bisexuality clear in the MCU.
“From the moment I joined Loki it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual,” Herron said, “It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now canon in [the] MCU.”
