But we can’t forget that Obama wasn’t alone in his presidential journey.
Continuously supporting him was his wife, Michelle Obama.
The Obamas have a lengthy love story.
The couple first met when a then twenty-five-year-old Michelle Robinson was assigned as a mentor for a twenty-eight-year-old Barack Obama at their law firm.
The influential couple tied the knot in 1992.
“Barack didn’t pledge riches, only a life that would be interesting. On that promise he delivered,” Mrs. Obama later recalled.
She supported her husband as he navigated his way through politics…
And, along with their 2 young daughters, was suddenly catapulted into the spotlight when he ran for president.
Of course, it didn’t take the world long to fall completely in love with Mrs. Obama…
People simply loved the first lady as much as they loved the president!

When presenter Naga Munchetty asked a rather intriguing question.
She said: “Which question do you detest being asked?”
Michelle’s answer came to her instantly!
“No, I’m not going to run,” Michelle concluded quickly.

Now, it looks like another member of the Obama family is trying to distance themselves from the presidency.
The Former President’s 25-year-old daughter, Malia, is fully immersing herself into show business.
She’s working as a writer, previously earning credits as a staff writer on the Amazon Prime show Swarm.
Her latest film project, The Heart, debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, but fans quickly noticed something about her movie credit.
The Former First Daughter appears to have dropped the Obama from her name and is now going as Malia Ann.
While some fans understand the change, others are criticizing Malia for it.
“Like if you wanna be a filmmaker that’s cool but we all know who you are, you’re Obama’s daughter,” one person wrote on social media. “You can’t hide that.”
“How much you wanna bet she’d get dragged if her filmmaking name was Malia Obama?” another fired back. “Leave this Harvard graduate with multiple successful projects [alone].”
Regardless of what name she goes by, it’s safe to say Malia’s career will continue to thrive–just take Donald Glover’s word for it.
“I feel like she’s just somebody who’s gonna have really good things coming soon,” her former boss told Vanity Fair in March 2022.
“Her writing style is great,” Glover continued. “We can’t be easy on her just because she’s the [former] President’s daughter.”
