Dating is nothing short of a minefield. It’s pretty terrifying that you can basically end up sat opposite someone that you don’t know anything about, trapped in any manner of awkward situations. From catfishes to ghosts, to orbiters, looking for love via the internet is certainly not for the faint of heart.

But one woman’s dating horror story might well be the worst we’ve ever heard…

We all want somebody to love.

The problem with trying to find love? It’s basically a living nightmare at every turn.

Dating is no joke.

It seems like the universe isn’t willing to put the right person in front of you until you’ve met a lot of the wrong ones first.

There are some weirdos out there…

Unfortunately, there are plenty of people who make navigating the dating world a very discouraging experience.

Apps are a nightmare.

You’re going to have to endure the endless, disappointing journey through the various dating apps.

But dating generally can be a world of trouble.

Basically, dating acts as a constant reminder that people are, generally, trash.

It’s a jungle out there.

Either people don’t look anything like their pictures, they’re still obsessed with their ex, or they tell you that they like you and then disappear forever into the ether.

Dates can also be awkward…

In fact, sometimes, they’re actually pretty scary because you never really know who you’re talking to…

But one woman shared a truly awful encounter this week.

The internet cannot believe how this guy behaved!

TikToker @nikki.jabs shared her horrifying story…

She shared a video of her upset in the back of a car, explaining how her evening went down.

“I said, ‘I’m wearing this to the function or going home.’”

“He said, ‘Can I call you an Uber?’”

“So I’m in an Uber home.”

“Currently smiling but also trying not to cry.”

“I’m just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty and he sent me home in an Uber. Who does that?”

“He sent me home with a stranger on a Friday night.”

But luckily, it seemed as though the internet was on her side.

The original video boasts over 5 million views.

Nikki expanded on her date’s issues with her dress sense, too.

“It all started with little comments here and there over the last couple of weeks, like, ‘why are you wearing heels? I like it when you wear tennis shoes. Why are you wearing so much makeup? I like it when you’re natural.'”

How does this compare to your worst ever date story?
