But of course, Kitchen Nightmares never falls short in its bad language and temper tantrums. And let’s not even get started on Hell’s Kitchen…

When it comes to cooking amazing food, Gordon isn’t afraid to put people in their place.

Despite his foul-mouthed rants being the best selling point on his TV shows, many have labeled the chef as a “bully,” and have slammed him for giving actual chefs the wrong kind of reputation.

Despite his fiery temper, it is undeniable that Gordon is an extremely talented cook.

Jeffrey Paige visited the Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Atlantic City, New Jersey last year, the Mirror reports.

He made the trip to the chef’s restaurant with his girlfriend.

Now, Paige had been intending to splash out some Wagyu beef during his visit, but while there he saw that the triple-seared Japanese A5 was also on the menu.

The triple-seared Japanese A5, also known as Kobe, is one of the most luxurious beef diners can buy, the outlet reports.

Paige decided to pick the Kobe as he thought the piece of meat cost $35 for 4oz in comparison to $78 for 8oz of the Wagyu.

His partner ordered the beef wellington for her meal and the couple also enjoyed sides, appetizers, and drinks alongside.

“I had never had real deal Kobe. It was like nothing else you’ll ever have. Melt in your mouth delicious,” he told the outlet.

“All in all an amazing meal and we were glad we could support the restaurant and its staff during these challenging times. And I still couldn’t believe Kobe was cheaper than Wagyu! Or so I thought.”

The couple enjoyed their meal but upon reading their bill, they received quite the shock…

Paige had misread the menu and the Kobe beef he had ordered was actually $35 per ounce ordered with a minimum order of 4oz.

Thankfully, Paige enjoyed his meal so much he was able to laugh off the mistake.

“I wish Chef Ramsay was there to come out and call me a donut for f***ing this up,” he said. “I enjoyed the hell out of it. No regrets baby!”

“My family and I are huge Gordon Ramsay fans, we watch his shows – Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef – and I’ve been to his restaurants before and loved everything we’ve gotten.”

“The steak and the experience were unforgettable, and if I had to make this blunder at any restaurant in the world, I’m glad it was at Chef Ramsay’s.”

So, you’re wondering how much his bill came to?
