A dad in Georgia brought out the worst in himself last month...

How so? Because in his final child support payment, he delivered it by dumping 80,000 coins onto the lawn of his ex's home...

The incident occurred shortly after his daughter, Avery Sanford, turned 18.

While the teenager was still at school, a dumpster turned up to her mom's house and began emptying thousands of coins onto the floor...

Sanford's mother came out of the house without even recognising her ex and asked him what he was doing.

The man replied: "It's your final child support payment."

Only then did she actually realise who the stranger dumping 80,000 coins onto her lawn. Sanford's mom called the cops who came and filed a report but no charges were made against the father...

When Sanford got home she found the pennies still out on the lawn. She then helped her mother pick them all up...

Her father flat out tried to embarrass Sanford, and her mom, in front of the whole street.

However thankfully this story has a positive story - as after all $800 dollars worth of coins were picked up, Sanford and her mom decided to donate them to a shelter that supports survivors of human trafficking and sexual and domestic violence.

Sanford said: "Turning around and donating that money to moms and children in need, I feel like that really just turns this situation into a positive one. People can learn a lesson from it."

And it gets even better as since the story went viral, the shelter, Safe Harbor, has seen a rise of over $5,000 in donations...
