Marvel Star Renner was reportedly involved in a “weather-related accident.”
It was believed to be caused by the recent devastating US snowstorms.
Now, we all know Jeremy Renner as an incredibly successful actor.
Two-time Oscar nominee Renner is best known for his role as Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the Marvel cinematic universe.
Now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a huge worldwide success.
The first movie in the franchise was released back in 2008 and since then, it has only grown in popularity.

Even their new television series which were released on Disney+ were very well received.

One of their most recent releases being the series Hawkeye, that features Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop.
Without giving away any spoilers (don’t worry), the show follows Marvel character Clint Barton Hawkeye.

Played by actor Jeremy Renner, Hawkeye made his first appearance in the MCU in 2011 film Thor.
Alongside his Marvel career, Renner has also appeared in films such as The Bourne Legacy, S.W.A.T, and 28 Weeks Later.
He was also nominated for an Academy Award for best actor for his role in The Hurt Locker in 2008, and for best supporting actor in The Town in 2010.
With 18 million followers on Instagram added into the mix, Renner is definitely popular.
However, he’s most recently made the headlines for a heartbreaking reason.
And it’s to do with the major snowstorms that the US has been battling over the New Year weekend.
The actor has been involved in an “weather-related accident” accident.
And as result, the 51 year-old was hospitalised.
It was announced that the accident happened whilst he was ploughing snow in Nevada.
Renner was trying to clear the roads outside of his house when the incident happened…
He was reportedly air-lifted to hospital, and underwent surgery on Monday.
According to People, a statement provided by his representative said his family are grateful to the “incredible doctors and nurses looking after him.”
It added: “They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
His accident is currently being investigated, but it’s reported that Renner was the only person involved.
He suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries following the incident on New Year’s Day, his publicist confirmed.
It’s truly heartbreaking.

It’s been announced that Renner is now out of surgery…
However, he remains in a critical but stable condition.
And now, fellow MCU star Mark Ruffalo has spoken out on the incident.
“Prayers up for our brother on a full and speedy recovery,” he shared.
“Please send healing goodness his way.”
Ruffalo and Renner are co-stars in the iconic Avengers movies.
