When a 6th-grader was struggling with her math homework, she emailed her teacher who immediately, and rather heroically, sprung to action to help her solve the problem.

The young girl’s dad posted a photo of the heartwarming moment onto social media, where it quickly went viral.

Like bringing up children wasn’t already challenging enough, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought us into full lockdown.

In an attempt to prevent further spread of the potentially deadly virus, several world leaders have imposed lockdowns upon their countries.

And supermarkets have been stripped bare of their products, making it incredibly challenging to keep the fridge and the cupboards full.

Our famous yellow school buses have been ground to a halt indefinitely as our fight against COVID-19 continues.

As any parent will know, keeping children cooped up indoors for an extended period of time is a recipe for disaster.

Parents have been left with little choice but to educate their children themselves.

And it turns out that homeschooling isn’t the easiest of tasks…

And many parents have been coming forward to admit that they don’t make the best teachers.

And these rather embarrassed “teachers” have been taking to social media to share their disaster stories with the world.

I don’t think any of us ever really envied our child’s teachers.

Pets have come in as extremely handy during these dark times.

It turns out that dogs make for great teachers.

But, sadly, not every parent has a four-legged helper to hand.

Many teachers have been remaining on standby in case of academic emergencies.

Teachers all over the country have kept theirs wide open by continuing tirelessly with their work and remaining in close contact with students and their parents.

Others have been helping out in a more hands-on kind of way.

Josh Anderson was attempting to help out with his 6th-grade daughter’s math homework, but he just couldn’t get his head around it. Math is difficult for some of us, okay?

Josh’s daughter decided to get in touch with her teacher, Chris Waba.

And, while abiding by self-isolation regulations, stood patiently outside her house as he helped her work through the problem.

And his photo has since been shared thousands of times.

We really do have some of the best teachers in the world.

During this pandemic, our educators have really come together to provide for our country’s children. Keep scrolling to read about the story one teacher wrote to comfort her students who were scared of COVID-19…
