To commemorate 420, unlikely pals Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg filmed themselves jamming out to Willie Nelson...

And it is perhaps the best video you will ever see.

Here's the full story...

Now, this somewhat unexpected move comes amid McConaughey's political plans.

Late last year, during an episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the topic of his potential run as governor of Texas was brought to light.

At that time, the actor didn't seem to keen on the idea.

"I have no plans to do that right now," he clarified. "I'll say this... Look, right now, no. I don't get politics. Politics seems to be a broken business. Politics needs re-defining in its purpose."

But, more recently, he has seemingly had a change of heart.

Speaking on The Balanced Voice podcast in February, McConaughey revealed that he was genuinely considering the possibility of becoming governor for his State.

"It's a true consideration. I'm looking into now again, what is my leadership role? Because I do think I have some things to teach and share, and what is my role? What's my category in my next chapter of life that I'm going into?"

But when he isn't planning his debut in the world of politics?

Well, the potential future governor of Texas is hanging out with his friend, Snoop Dogg.

As stated earlier, the actor and rapper marked the unofficial marijuana holiday by going for a drive and jamming along to pro-marijuana country music legend, Willie Nelson...

And, amazingly, they filmed the whole thing for our viewing pleasure.

Of course, their fans are loving the footage from their little road trip...

With McConaughey in the driver's seat and Snoop in the passenger's, the pair can be seen bopping along to a whole variety of tracks...

Including "On the Road Again," by Willie Nelson and the rapper's own "Drop It Like It's Hot."

At one point, they even pulled into a Carl's Jr. and asked the woman helping them at the drive-thru to sing along with them...

Which she did with full gusto, might I add.

The pair were in visibly high spirits...

No pun intended.
