Coming from none other thank McDonald's.

Many parents are claiming it's making them tear up...

With its extremely poignant portrayal of parenthood.

The commercial depicts a teenager who just isn't interested in Christmas anymore...

And his mom's efforts to engage have been pulling at parents' heartstrings around the world.

A glimmer of the once excitable young boy is seen when his mom shows her son the annual Christmas decorations...

But the moody teenager simply turns his back on her and carries on playing his video games.

The mom looks clearly upset...

But when she drives her son to their nearby McDonald's, he decides to let his inner youngster back out after remembering the fond family memories spent at the fast-food chain.

And at the end...

The teenager uses the carrot sticks he got in his Happy Meal to place in front of the fireplace, ready for Santa Claus' arrival. We're not crying, you are...
