Calling all McDonald’s fans, the fast food chain has announced that it’s bringing back the McRib…
According to UNILAD, McDonald’s announced the return of its beloved McRib in the US this week on Twitter.

It will be available from October 31.
However, there was some sad news too…

“This is its farewell tour,” read the statement on their official website.
McDonald’s has reportedly advised customers to “get one while you can.”

“Order yours in the McDonald’s app for delivery or pickup. Enjoy our famous pork sandwich as if it’s your last!”
McDonald’s fans, especially McRib lovers, are used to the popular bbq sandwich coming and going…

As it isn’t a permanent fixture on the menu.
Reportedly, for years it has returned to the fast food restaurant for stints of a few weeks before disappearing once again…

It’s good to note that McDonald’s doesn’t typically brand these returns as “tours,” let alone “farewell tours.”
And so maybe it could indeed be a bad sign for McRib lovers…

However, some internet users aren’t so sure and have said there are other things that resemble Mcdonald’s famous McRib…
In fact, Simpsons showrunner Bill Oakley wrote: “If you believe this ‘Farewell Tour’ is actually the end of McRib, I have a Mexican Pizza and a Wingstop Chicken Sandwich and Brooklyn Bridge to sell you.”

While other fans simply can’t accept the fact the sandwich may be discontinued…
“@McDonalds Please be joking w/ this ‘Farewell Tour’ for the McRib … we’re OK w/ having to say goodbye for extensive periods of time, but Forever shouldn’t be apart of that,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Why don’t you listen to what your customers are literally begging u for tho? surely u would make more money, then maybe to could ‘afford’ to pay your staff a decent wage!” added another.
“Disappointing,” a third user wrote.
“Okay, before you ask: — yes, it’s the US only — nope, it’s not coming back here — friendly reminder the UK Twitter admin doesn’t make menu decisions…” tweeted McDonald’s.

The main filling of the seasoned boneless pork is dipped in a tangy BBQ sauce, and the McRib is then stuffed with slivered onions and dill pickles and served on a toasted homestyle bun.
Grab one while you still can!
