A brutally honest McDonald’s sign has claimed that “no one wants to work anymore” after apologizing for being short-staffed…

Which is something that so many businesses in the hospitality industry have been experiencing in the last turbulent year.

Here’s the full story…

Now, we all know how unbelievably difficult the last year has been…

But there’s no doubting that the hospitality industry here in the United States has been one of the hardest hit.

Because of the pandemic, millions of businesses have had to shut their doors for good…

With the vast majority of surviving businesses being the multi-million dollar chains that are located worldwide.

And of course, McDonald’s is one of those chains.

Because how on Earth could the world’s most popular burger joint go out of business?!

While many would think this would be good news for the hard-working staff members at McDonald’s…

It turns out that going to work actually hasn’t been at the forefront of employees minds during these difficult times.

Working in hospitality is now harder than ever due to the increased demand…

And due to social distancing restrictions, many restaurants and fast-food outlets continue to be short-staffed… which makes work a living hell for many.

But it turns out that some people just don’t want to work anymore…

Which has been proven this week by an eye-opening sign that was on display at a McDonald’s drive-thru here in America.

TikTok user @brittanyjade903 posted a video of the brutally honest sign on her account…

And people have been expressing their sympathies for those currently working in short-staffed hospitality jobs as well as blaming the treatment that hospitality staff endure on a daily basis.

And it just truly goes to show the impact COVID-19 has had on our country’s hospitality industry.

People need to start being patient and kind towards hospitality workers…

Because at the end of the day, they’re the ones working for hours on end to meet our needs… so please, be kind.
