Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are finally getting married.
And Kelly’s proposal was just as weirdly romantic as ever.

Now, Kelly and Fox aren’t exactly your most conventional couple.
The eccentric musician, who is responsible for hit tracks such as “Wild Boy” and “Till I Die,” started dating Fox a few months after she had separated from her husband of more than a decade, Brian Austin Green.
The pair met on the set of the Indie flick, Midnight In The Switchgrass, in March 2020…
And immediately hit it off, with a source telling E! News that they had “been hanging out a lot since their movie was shutdown,” and that “the downtime has been good for them… They are intrigued by each other and having a lot of fun.”
The pair were frequently spotted out and about together…
And were even seen sharing the odd kiss here and then – yet, regardless of all of this, there was no official confirmation of their blossoming relationship.
A couple of months on from this, the actress’ now ex-husband, whom she shares 3 children with, addressed the romance rumors.
Recalling the moment Fox told him about Kelly – real name Colson Baker – he said on his podcast: “I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her because she didn’t ask to feel that way. It wasn’t a choice she made, that’s the way she honestly felt.”
But he admitted that Kelly is a “really nice, genuine guy.”
“I’ve never met him, but Megan and I have talked about him,” Austin said. “They’re friends at this point, and from what she’s expressed, he’s a really nice, genuine guy, and I trust her judgment.”
And later that month, when Kelly released the music video for his new song, “Bloody Valentine”…
All of the romance rumors between him and Fox were unanimously confirmed.
Fox starred in the video as Kelly’s domineering girlfriend…
And even shared an almost-kiss with the musician, thus stoking further speculation about their relationship.
A month later, Kelly seemed to allude to his new relationship, tweeting a lyric from the new track.
“I’m calling you girlfriend, what the f**k.’ Life imitated art on that one,” he wrote.
And, a few days later, Us Weekly reported that Kelly and Fox were officially dating.
“Megan and MGK have gotten more serious and are officially dating and referring to one another as boyfriend and girlfriend,” a source told the outlet. “They’re enjoying spending more and more time together and have a strong connection.”
Ever since the pair seem to have been going strong.
In their first joint interview together, Fox said she felt an “astrological connection” between them.
“I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she recalled. “Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
However, some aspects of their relationship have certainly raised eyebrows over the past year.
The internet exploded in July 2020 when Kelly opened up about a rather intimate detail surrounding their courtship.
In a virtual interview with Teen Vogue, Kelly expressed his affection for Fox’s feet.
Yes, her feet.
“It’s no secret. I think feet are beautiful,” he declared. “And I think Megan has the most beautiful feet that exist.”
He also admitted to asking Fox to highlight her feet for the video with a cameo.
“I was like, ‘Megan, you already know what I’m about to ask you.’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I literally got a pedicure just because I knew you were going to ask me that’,” he explained.
Kelly was all up for talking about the things he’s done for love in an interview with Jimmy Falon on The Tonight Show.
And honestly, it’s was a little crazy.
But before he got into that, he talked about the time he bruised his cocycx saying “It was bad.”
“Why can’t I sit or stand or do anything?” he said to Falon.
“I had a match with Post Malone in a beer pong game, and you know when you get your cup and start drinking, well we didn’t even get to the game when we started drinking, and they filmed on the way out doing a Rocky Boxing match film.
“I couldn’t take the pressure of the camera,” he continued on, “So I was like alright every 5 steps I’ve got to do something cool because it like 500 steps, I don’t wanna just walk.
“There was a staircase rail, and I was like yeah great, so I take the staircase rail and I rode it down,” he explained.
“At the bottom of it I didn’t see a giant spike, and it just… You know.”
This was at the time he’d only just started dating Fox, too.
So he was still trying to look super cool for her and acted like his coccyx wasn’t that sore. But he tried so hard to prove he’s cool that he stabbed himself…
After winning the beer pong match, he and his bruised coccyx went home with Fox, and did something yet again that he tried to play off…
“I went home and Travis got me this Knife that had an engravement from the new album on it, and I was like ‘check this out this is sick’ and I threw it up and it came and stuck in my hand,” he said.
“The next morning as soon as she left I was like ‘yo I need stitches real quick, I’ve got a bruised coccyx and a knife in my hand,” he commically told Falon.
I mean, it’s cute that he wanted to impress her but come on Kelly, we don’t think she would have minded if you needed to go to the hospital after sticking a knife in your skin…
And now, after all they’ve done for eachother as boyfriend and girlfriend…
Fox has announced their engagement.
And people certainly had mixed reactions to her post.
So, by now I think you’ve guessed that the caption is anything but normal, right?
Keep scrolling to find out what she said…
But 1st, it’s safe to say she definitely said yes.
Because according to Kelly’s gram, she said: “Yes, in this life and every life.”
“Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me,” he continued.
“I know the tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022,” he finished.
And to be honest, Kelly’s post was quite… Well, normal, compared to his future wife’s post.
“In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree.
“We asked for magic,” she wrote.
“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.
“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.
“…and then we drank each other’s blood,” she finished her weird and wacky heartfelt post.
Although their engagement celebration seemed to follow a theme you’d see in the popular Supernatural series, we wish them all the happiness in the world.
