According to a recent public vote, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been named 2 of the most respected members of the royal family among young people.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex came second to Her Majesty The Queen in a poll designed to figure out who people thought were the most respected members.

The poll, conducted by health charity Stem4, reported that the Queen came first with twenty-six percent of the vote.

And then, despite leaving the royal family to become “financially independent,” Meghan and Harry got joint second place with twenty-one percent.

Surprisingly, Prince William and Kate Middleton got only eleven percent of the vote each.

1,032 people took part in the vote altogether, with the ages between thirteen and twenty-five…

Which comes just 2 weeks after Harry and Meghan welcomed their daughter into the world.

But regardless of the happy news, relations between the Sussexes and the royal family have been tense over the last few months since their explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

But many hope the birth of Lilibet will help build their relationships, with Kate saying she “can’t wait” to meet her.

Lilibet was named as a tribute to the Queen, with Lilibet being her nickname. Her name is also a tribute to the late Princess Diana.
So sweet!
