Meghan Markle's new tell-all book, Finding Freedom, is said to be hitting the shelves in August, revealing an insider's point of view of what the palace is really like. Keep scrolling to see the claims Lady Colin Campbell made in her book where she described Meghan's political ambitions.

The royalists are pushing back.

Their vendetta against Meghan Markle has reached an all-time peak as Lady Colin Campbell released her new book in which she spilled some disgusting "truths" about her.

But why has Meghan Markle always been a target?

Even people that have never met the woman have been attacking her left, right, and center.

Meghan as well as her husband Harry, have not been treated with the respect they deserve.

It all started with the denouncing of their involvement with the royal family and everything else followed suit.

But they're still one of the most famous couples in the world.

Headlines were made all over the world when the British Royal Family's Prince Harry announced his romance with the Suits actress, Meghan Markle.

It all started with a blind date...

The couple met back in 2016 when they were set up by a mutual friend who thought the two would hit it off.

And their friend's hunch was apparently right...

Because the pair hit it off, and they immediately arranged to see each other again, eventually going on to have 2 more dates in London.

And, in 2017, after a couple of months of privacy...

The pair officially went public with their relationship.

Meghan was instantly catapulted into the royal spotlight.

Though she was already pretty well known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, the California-born actress was thrown into levels of fame that she had never experienced before.

The world quickly became Meghan and Harry obsessed.

And people were delighted to hear the news of their engagement later that year.

And, not ones to waste any time...

The couple officially tied the knot in May 2018 and shortly after, had their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

They make for the cutest little family.

But things haven't been as rosy and smooth-sailing as they have been appearing.

Meghan hasn't had the easiest time...

Joining the British royal family was never going to be an easy transition, given that a person has to give up their entire life in order to be a part of the monarchy. But Meghan's experience has been especially difficult.

Many dedicated royalists weren't happy to see an American woman of colour in the monarchy...

And many attacked the Duchess, slamming her as "fake," with some going as far as accusing her of breaking up the royal family entirely.

She has also been relentlessly attacked by the press...

To the point where Kensington Palace was forced to issue a statement, pleading for the press and the public alike to take a step back when it comes to their scathing reporting and bombardment of Meghan. And until this, day this hasn't stopped.

But, this year, the couple have seemingly had enough of the harassment and the criticism...

Because they announced that they will be officially stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

They made the announcement on their joint Instagram page, Sussex Royal.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," the post read.

The couple plan on providing a more "normal" upbringing for Archie...

And announced that they will be splitting their time between the U.K and North America. “This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity," they wrote.

This was huge news...

And it was bound to have ruffled a couple of feathers in Buckingham Palace.

But what many people have failed to take into consideration...

Is how hard this whole experience must have been for Meghan - a new mother.

Fuel continued to be added to the fire.

Between being mom-shamed and slammed, Meghan truly can't catch a break.

Since her and Harry's sudden move to Los Angeles...

They seem to be settling much more into quieter and more normal family life.

But even then, they can't seem to catch a break from the press.

Lady Colin Campbell, a notorious anti-Meghan stan, recently released a book Meghan And Harry: The Real Story in which she describes some first and second-hand observations about the former royals, and in particular, Meghan's ambitions in the political sphere.

But what we need to remember about this is that Campbell may have never even met them before.

There has been no evidence of the two crossing paths, but it seems as though Campbell still loves to discuss their business, so much so that she released an entire book on it. Sounds a little obsessive. And by "a little", I mean a lot.

In the book, which is out today, she described these following scenes...

The extracts, which were seen by FEMAIL and quoted by Daily Mail, Campbell revealed that a friend had told her Meghan was the reason that Harry was not close with lots of his friends anymore, and that she was also "rude" to them,

This is what she said:

"A girl went up to Meghan, introduced herself, and said how beautiful she thought she was. She said she knew it was Meghan's birthday and wished her a happy birthday. Meghan looked at her as if she had committed a great faux pas by speaking to her and walked off." "It was so cold." Campbell quotes "someone who witnessed the exchange" describing it as "really rude."

It lacks credibility,t hat's one thing we know for sure.

No names, no specific first-hand experiences, and a lot of word of mouth. A recipe for the perfect rumors by a well-known Meghan hater.

She also described another event saying this:

via: Getty Images

"Another girl told Meghan how much she admired her, and how wonderful she thought she was that she and Harry were married and how well she thought she was doing..."

She continues writing:

via: Getty Images

"She told her she was rooting for them and wished them well. Meghan's response? She looked her up and down, turned away without saying a word her out for the rest of the wedding breakfast." Why am I finding this mumbo-jumbo very hard to believe.

Is this one final pathetic clap-back before Meghan destroys everyone with her tell-all book?

Campbell is known to be a feisty and ill-tempered woman, as video evidence of her on reality shows will easily show you, but this is just taking things to a whole other level.

She also told Page Six that she thought Meghan was only doing this to further her "political career."

via: Getty Images

Page Six saw a different section of her book and revealed this: "She's [Meghan] a total opportunist. She knew in advance she'd embark on commercial ventures, which royalty strictly forbids." But then if she was always planning this, why would she marry Harry?

She went on further in her valiant attempt to discredit Meghan...

via: Getty Images

"She now has what she wanted — a millionaire's life in Hollywood. She's caused Harry to lose most of his friends. He's weaker than she. He's run ragged. Despite the sex, she will make his life miserable. He has no strength of character to leave her." Bold claims for a woman that hasn't even had a one-on-one conversation with her.

Regardless it seems as though she knows Meghan's personal ambitions... Weird.

via: Getty Images

"I know the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions and I've been told that one day she wants to run for President," Lady Colin claimed. "I think everything she is doing, leaving the royal family and moving back to California is part of her plan and she has taken Harry along with her."

I for one, think that Meghan would make a great president.

I mean look at the current state of Donald Trump, it wouldn't be too difficult to do a better job.

This news comes ahead of Meghan's new book which is said to release in August.

Finding Freedom will detail her time as a member of the royal family as well as her personal reasons as to why she left, along with her husband and son. We can't wait to read it. In the meantime, keep scrolling for some more royal-related news...
