Meghan Markle is set to make history by being the first royal in history to ever vote in a major election such as the 2020 presidential elections.

But now the reason why she’s allowed to has also been revealed…

And we all know how irritated people can get when they try and give their political opinions, especially those who are constantly subjected to hate and negativity.

And she has been receiving a lot of anger recently after she spoke out about voting in the U.S. presidential election.

That Meghan herself is actually shocked over people’s anger toward her “wading into politics.”

And her decision means that she will be the first-ever, modern British royal to have ever voted in a major, national election. And now the reason behind why she’s allowed to do this has also been revealed…

When the former actress started dating Prince Harry, her career as an actress seemed to be instantly swapped for a life fulfilling royal duties.

And there was no denying how happy they looked together.

Much to the delight of their fan-base worldwide!

Which made Meghan an official part of the royal family. She relocated to London and was given the title, the Duchess of Sussex.

And Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born in May of 2019.

Things were far from the case behind the scenes as Meghan was relentlessly attacked by the British press and public.

The British media had something to say about it. Whether she was being branded as a diva, a control-freak, a “monarchy ruiner,” and even a bad mother, Meghan received it all.

There’s absolutely no doubt that she was struggling.

In a joint statement, the couple said that they wanted “a normal upbringing for their child” and they feel that spending their time between the U.K. and America would be much more appropriate for their family environment.

But nobody was more shocked than those in the royal family.

Apparently, the Queen wasn’t notified of Harry and Meghan’s plans to step down from the family until after their announcement on social media.

Her Majesty published a statement shortly afterward, which read: “Discussions with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage. We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through.”

The future King of England was reported to have distanced himself from Harry and Meghan and the pair didn’t speak for months.

Meghan is still receiving a lot of heat from the British press for “breaking up the royal family.” And my goodness, we wonder why

And no other royal has ever received the volume of hate in which Meghan has – not even Prince Andrew, who was accused of being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking scandal.

And it’s not okay.

It seems that her fan base is actually bigger than many of us anticipated.

Her future looks very bright for her and her family…

And recent reports suggest she’s got her heart, mind, and eyes set on an even bigger prize.

Because according to numerous reports, Markle has serious ambitions to run for president in the future.

The unidentified friend of Markle’s explained that it’s one of the reasons she was reluctant to get rid of her U.S. citizenship.

“One of the reasons she was so keen not to give up her American citizenship was so she had the option to go into politics. I think if Meghan and Harry ever gave up their titles she would seriously consider running for president.”

People are now calling her the “living embodiment of the American dream” and we must say, it’s hard to disagree.

She will become the first British royal figure to have ever voted in a major national election by casting her vote for the 2020 presidential elections, multiple media outlets have reported.

They also added this: “I’m not going to get into methods or timing, but can confirm that the Duchess is voting in this election.”

Well, the Duchess is still considered an American citizen, so will have the right to exercise her vote, just like any other American.

During #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, the royals joined #Time100 alumni in taking action for the future, stressing that voting can change everything.

“We’re just six weeks out from Election Day, and today is National Voter Registration Day. Every four years, we are told the same thing, that ‘This is the most important election of our lifetime.’ But this one is. When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. Your voice is a reminder that you matter. Because you do. And you deserve to be heard.”

With many criticizing her for telling U.S. citizens to go out and vote this election as royals are known for being “politically neutral.” Her husband, Harry, has never been able to vote in the United Kingdom, but even he encouraged others to use their right.

“She thought she was saying something relatively uncontroversial, which is people should get involved and vote,” a source said.

“Even telling people to get involved in the democratic process should not be a controversial subject.” That’s why she will be exercising her right to vote today. Go out and do the same! For more royal controversy, scroll on…
