Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey’s Apple TV+ series, The Me You Can’t See, was finally released today and already, the former senior royal has opened up about so many personal things, including his wife Meghan and her ongoing battle with the media and ‘the firm,’ even after they’ve left…

But most notably the fact that Meghan’s critics “won’t stop until she dies.”

Very shocking, we know!

Of course, these bombshell accusations don’t exactly come as a surprise in light of recent events…

And there’s no doubt that the last year has been very turbulent for the prince and his wife, Meghan Markle.

advertisement

Because in the last couple of years, Harry and Meghan have majorly distanced themselves from the royal family.

It all started in January 2020 when he and Meghan took to Instagram to announce they would be stepping down from their senior roles in the royal family due to harassment from the British press and a need for privacy.

They simply wanted a quieter life…

And it didn’t take long for them to relocate to Los Angeles where they’re currently raising their son, Archie, and expecting their second child.

But quite predictably, the news of their departure didn’t go down well with royalists all around the world…

And alongside rumors of bitter feuds between Harry, Prince Charles, and Prince William, the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview poured even more fuel on the fire.

Harry and Meghan’s tell-all interview with the famous TV host aired on March 7th…

And an unbelievable amount of dirt was dished out on the royal family and their treatment of the couple over the last few years.

Meghan made some shocking accusations of racism against the monarchy…

Including concerns that were expressed by an unnamed senior member of the family over Archie’s skin color – something that Meghan insisted contributed to her son not being given a royal title.
She also tearfully described the lack of support she received when she was feeling suicidal during her pregnancy due to the pressure and isolation that comes with being a member of the royal family.

Harry then spoke of how he’s been “financially cut off” by his father…

And that he’s now pretty much an outcast in his family.

advertisement

Of course, while many sympathized with the couple following the eye-opening interview…

Many weren’t at all impressed by their attempt to break their silence in such a publicized way… because let’s face it, you don’t get more famous and “A-lister” than Oprah Winfrey!
Harry and Meghan were also accused of being “attention seekers” and “liars.”

Harry returned to the U.K shortly after the interview to attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip…

And it was reported that there was a “great deal of frostiness” between Harry, his father, and other senior royals.

So, as you can see, it’s been a very tense few months for Harry and Meghan…

But hasn’t stopped Harry from speaking out yet again about the hardships of being in the royal family.

Harry appeared as a guest on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast last week…

And he made many personal revelations during the interview.

In perhaps the most talked-about moment of the podcast, Harry said he was caught in a cycle of “pain and suffering” in the British royal family…

And hinted heavily that he is critical of the way his father, Prince Charles, raised him.

Discussing his upbringing as a royal, he said:

“When it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered, I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on.”

He added that “a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed on anyway…”

  via Getty

“So we as parents should be doing the most we can to try and say ‘you know what, that happened to me, I’m going to make sure that doesn’t happen to you.'”

Harry also noted that as he grew older, he realized that Charles raised him in the way that he had previously been raised.

  via Getty

“I never saw it, I never knew about it, and then suddenly I started to piece it together and go ‘OK, so this is where he went to school, this is what happened, I know this about his life, I also know that is connected to his parents so that means he’s treated me the way he was treated, so how can I change that for my own kids?'”

Of course, his comments have caused quite a stir within the royal family.

A source told the Daily Mail that the family noted “they [Meghan and Harry] appear to be making careers of talking about their previous ones… It is not helpful.”

It’s clear that senior members within the royal family are not impressed with Harry and Meghan’s revelations…

And now, they’ve got another reason to be unimpressed with the pair as Harry’s Apple TV+ series with Oprah Winfrey has dropped.

The Me You Can’t See, a 5-part series, began streaming today…

And the docu-series explores mental health and emotional well-being with stories from people and celebrities all around the world – including Harry himself.

The former senior royal has opened up about some very sensitive subjects for the series…

Including Meghan’s suicidal thoughts and how difficult things became for them while living in the U.K.

Discussing a trip they took in 2019 to the Royal Albert Hall to attend the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s Totem, he said:

“Earlier that evening she decided to share with me the suicidal thoughts and the practicalities of how she was going to end her life. The scariest thing for her was her clarity of thought. She hadn’t lost it — she wasn’t crazy or self-medicating, be it through pills or alcohol, she was absolutely sober. She was completely sane, yet in the quiet of night these thoughts woke her up.”

He continued:

  via Getty

“The thing that stopped her from seeing it through was how unfair it would be on me after everything that had happened to my mum and to now be put in the position of losing another woman in my life with a baby inside her, our baby.”

Harry also discussed his mother, Princess Diana…

  via Getty

And he likened his and Meghan’s relationship to the one Diana had with her partner, Dodi Fayed.

The prince was just twelve years old when Diana tragically lost her life following a car crash in Paris…

And an Egyptian filmmaker also died in the crash following a romantic vacation in the French capital with Diana.

Speaking candidly in the series, Harry said of his mom’s death:

  via Getty

“My mother was chased to her death while she was in a relationship with someone that wasn’t white, and now look what’s happened.”

advertisement

“You want to talk about history repeating itself. They’re not going to stop until she dies,” he then said of his wife.

You can stream the series on Apple TV+ here.

He revealed in the first episode of the docu-series that he had found Meghan crying into her pillow whilst he slept.

“Before the Oprah interview had aired, there was a combined effort of the Firm and the media to smear her (Meghan).”

advertisement

She said she didn’t want to wake him because he was already carrying so much.

“I was woken in the middle of the night to her crying in her pillow because she doesn’t want to wake me up because I’m already carrying too much. That’s heartbreaking. I held her. We talked. She cried, and she cried, and she cried.”

Meghan has received lots of hate from both the general public and the Royal Family.

Including the iconic moment where Piers Morgan stormed off the set of Good Morning Britain after being berated for his comments on Meghan and the interview.
