Meghan McCain isn't happy about the way in which President Trump has continued to attack her late father, John McCain...

Donald Trump's hatred of John McCain has been known for quite some time...

And now, his continuous attacks on the late senator are starting to get out of hand.

So much so...

That McCain's daughter, Meghan, has had no choice but to fire back at the president for his harsh and disrespectful words against her father.

Now, John McCain was the senator for Arizona from 1987 up until his death in 2018...

And he held a long and successful career in American politics throughout his life.

But McCain didn't originally have politics in mind.

Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, McCain entered the United States Naval Academy in the late 1950s.

But in the 1960s, McCain was taken as a prisoner of war while flying his twenty-third bombing mission over Vietnam.

He was held captive for 5 and a half years before finally being released, in which he spent weeks in the hospital recovering from his brutal injuries.

Upon returning to the United States and receiving lots of treatment for both physical and mental injuries, McCain began his career in U.S politics.

He was elected as the Republican Senate for Arizona in 1987 and although he failed his presidential run in 2000, he continued to fulfill this position until his tragic death in 2018.

In 2017, McCain was diagnosed with a brain tumor...

And just a year later, the senate tragically passed away after numerous rounds of chemotherapy and treatment failed to treat the tumor.

Millions were devastated following the news of McCain's death...

Well, apart from 1 person of course - President Donald Trump.

Now, Trump has made his feelings about McCain very clear for quite some time.

It all started when Trump's first presidential campaign kicked off and he made those derogatory comments about Mexican people in 2015. After Trump called them "rapists" and "drug dealers," McCain just couldn't hold his tongue and publically criticized his rhetoric on immigration.

It didn't take long for this criticism to get back to Trump...

And during a stream-of-consciousness performance at a rally in Phoenix, Trump promised to "take our country back" and blamed "incompetent politicians" such as McCain for allowing illegal immigration to reach a crisis point.

Although McCain was dearly loved in his home state, Trump soon started turning his supporters against him.

Days later, McCain, who was running for re-election at the time, said Trump’s comments on immigration "fired up the crazies." Trump demanded McCain apologize – and then intensified his attack by claiming McCain graduated "last in his class" at Naval Academy and called him a "dummy."

In 2016, McCain said this about the president after the infamous Access Hollywood tape was leaked and showed Trump bragging about groping women.

"When Mr. Trump attacks women and demeans the women in our nation and our society, that is a point where I just have to part company. I have daughters, I have friends, I have so many wonderful people on my staff... They cannot be degraded and demeaned in that fashion."

Their dispute then exploded into a full-blown feud when Trump told an audience in Iowa that McCain wasn’t a "war hero because he was captured."

From then on, McCain completely distanced himself from the potty-mouthed president and simply ignored the many jabs Trump would go on to make at him until his death.

McCain's family requested for Trump to not attend the funeral services held in Washington and Arizona...

But he was the one who approved the military transport of McCain’s body, and, after much criticism, ordered the flags to half-staff.

But regardless of McCain's death 2 years ago, Trump still enjoys making cruel comments about the late senate.

The president tweeted this last week: "Check out last in his class John McCain, one of the most overrated people in D.C."

It seems that enough is enough...

And McCain's daughter, Meghan McCain, has publically outed Trump for still "obsessing" over her dad... and people are loving her response.

Now, Meghan is no stranger to criticizing President Trump...

And she responded to his cruel tweet in the best possible way.

"2 years after he died, you still obsess over my dad."

"It kills you that no one will ever love you or remember you like they loved and remember him. He served his country with honor, you have disgraced the office of the presidency. You couldn't even pull it out in Arizona..." she said to the president on Twitter.

We're sure Trump saw McCain's angry message...
