Mel Brooks has given his first-ever endorsement video for Joe Biden, along with his son and grandson.

Mel Brooks has released his first-ever endorsement video...

And quickly slams Donald Trump for a whole list of things he's done wrong this term.

The fifty-three-second video with his son and his grandson has since gained a lot of attention.

Brooks' says he's backing Biden because he "likes facts," science, and "will keep us going."

His son could be seen holding a Biden-Harris 2020 sign, next to his grandson, holding a Bye Don 2020 sign...

Brooks starts by complaining that Donald Trump is not doing a "damn thing about" the pandemic.

And tells Americans they need to use their vote.

Brooks said that "so many people have died" in the pandemic and "when you're dead you can't do much."

His best friend, Carl Reiner, who sadly passed away this summer, at ninety-eight-years-old.

Throughout his decades-long career, Reiner was one of those rare actors who never fell out of the public eye.

Despite his age, Reiner remained a firm favorite in the world of Hollywood, and he enjoyed tremendous success throughout his impressive career...

But it was his public statements about politics that really touched people...

In July, Reiner's wife tweeted: "I will say one last thing for him. I know he would be disappointed not to have lived to see Trump's eviction from the White House, to make America safe again for honor and truth. Please VOTE! Annie Reiner."

Many commented on his recent support and solidarity with the BLM movement...

Just weeks and days before his death.

Brooks 'Cup of Joe' mug even made its way into the video...

"Take a tip from me. Vote for Joe."

Towards the end, he told his son and Grandson to leave: "OK you can leave... I love you too."

And finishes, saying: "I've got to fill out my ballot. See you later."

The clip ended with information...

Guiding people where to go if they had any questions.

His son, Max Brooks, has always been clear where he stands with the election...

And he shared the video saying: "He has never made a political video. Until now."

Brooks lives in New York with his wife.

On Tuesday New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut have seen an increase in covid cases.

More than 8 million infections and 221,083 were recorded on Wednesday.

Many think Trump just hasn't done enough to keep people safe.

He even tried to lay blame on the infectious disease expert, Dr, Anthony Fauci...

While saying that everyone was tired of talking about the virus.

Brooks' endorsement also came as Trump is trailing in fundraising for campaign ads.

We love his enthusiasm.

Biden has promised to move toward fighting global challenges such as climate change and COVID-19.

Biden and Kamala Harris have said they have a proper plan to tackle the virus in the US.

The View host, Joy Behar, was thrilled with the endorsement.

"The great Mel Brooks and handsome son and grandson are voting for Joe, of course. Smart family," she tweeted.
