Michelle Obama quickly became just as famous as her husband...
The Obama's have a lengthy love story.
The couple first met when a then twenty-five-year-old Michelle Robinson was assigned as a mentor for a twenty-eight-year-old Barack Obama at their law firm.
Though Michelle admits that, initially, she wasn't too keen on the idea of dating Barack...told ABC News, when discussing how the pair had met.
But it was clearly meant to be.
Barack's proposed date was clearly a hit, as the pair were quick to become a couple, and later tied the knot in 1992. Michelle noted that her husband's vows were a glimpse at what was to come. “Barack didn’t pledge riches, only a life that would be interesting. On that promise he delivered," she later recalled.

But, in today's political climate, Barack's latest book has been a little more anticipated than the rest...
A Promised Land hit shelves on Tuesday, November 18th.

And, following its release...

Barack admitted that marital tension was a previously hidden part of his presidency.
"That was the truth of our time in the White House."
"Michelle very much believed in the work I did but was less optimistic about what I could get done. ... She's more skeptical about politics and more mindful of the sacrifices to the family," he said.
“During the time we were there, Michelle felt this underlying tension. The pressure, stress, of needing to get everything right, to be 'on' at every moment."
There was also a huge element of "loneliness."
via: GettySo worrisome, in fact, that he recalls in his new memoir how it could keep him awake at night.
The former president described leaving the White House as a "big exhale" for the pair.
"It took some time to talk about how she had felt," he explained, adding, "Once [the presidency] was done, there was the possibility of her opening up ... but more importantly just her being able to let out a breathe and relax."
Michelle "has been more relaxed and more joyful since we left office," her husband says.
Of course, we were very happy to hear that the iconic couple managed to work through all the obstacles...

Michelle Obama outshone Barack on Inauguration Day. He is such a powerhouse that that is no small feat. I was so here for it. She deserves more recognition for the powerful woman that she is. He is lucky to have her.— AmyH (@holston_amy) January 22, 2021
But the latest revelation of their relationship shows that it's still not always easy to relax in certain situations...
While attending Joe Biden's inauguration, it seems as if the couple had a few little disagreements about how to act on the day. I mean, it's sometimes easy to forget we're in a time where social distancing is key, but thankfully Michelle Obama was around to remind Barack of the issue.
Even though she was probably trying to be discreet about it, sometimes, you've just got to let it out...
And Amanda Gorman, the poet that stunned global audiences at the event, heard it all.
In an interview with Ellen Degeneres, Gorman dropped some of the little details we missed on the day.
The secrets all came out when the host asked her what it felt like to be sat amongst such a wide array of famous people.
She replied by first talking about J-Lo and her husband...
Speaking of sitting next to Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Gorman said: "My mom kind of leaned in and whispered, 'That's A-Rod!', and I asked if she wanted to get a picture and she said, 'already done!'."
She then moved on to talking about Michelle and Barack Obama...
"[Michelle] kind of kept yelling at Barack like, 'Stop hugging people. Stop getting close to people.' And then when I was done, she kind of pushed him out of the way and gave me the biggest, warmest Michelle Obama hug."
She continued, recalling the hilariousness of the situation.
"Hah! I mean, Barack did share embraces with everyone from Lady Gaga and Hillary Clinton to Joe and Jill Biden that day, in addition to his fair share of fist bumps. She was just looking out for her hubby's safety and well-being amid the pandemic!"
