Miley Cyrus has opened up about her relationship with Hailey Bieber when they were younger.
This comes as the pair graced an episode of Apple TV’s Carpool Karaoke.

Now, who doesn’t know Miley Cyrus…
Considering she’s just twenty-nine years old, it’s pretty remarkable everything the star has done.
Miley is best known for her iconic role in Hannah Montana.
The then thirteen-year-old starred alongside her country singer dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, as Hannah Montana in the show which debuted in 2006.
The star played a grade-school student who lives a double life as an international pop star.
And it was a huge hit!
Such a hit that it even took to the box office, seeing Cyrus star alongside her Hannah Montana cast in Hannah Montana: The Movie.
The singer also released 2 albums while starring in Hannah Montana – producing several singles, including the popular 2009 hits ‘Party in the U.S.A.’, and ‘The Climb’.
But much to fans’ disappointment, filming stopped in late 2010.
In the same year that we waved goodbye to Hannah Montana, the star began her on-off relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
The 2 first met on the set of Nicholas Sparks’s film, The Last Song, in 2009, where they starred opposite each other as love interests.
Of course, we all know how that ended…
They may have been one of Hollywood’s most high profile couples, but just 8 months after tying the knot, the pair called it quits.
As the years passed, Miley quickly grew up…
And in 2012, we well and truly kissed goodbye to Hannah Montana when the star debuted her bleach blonde pixie cut, marking a change of direction for the singer…
And then was definitely clear that Miley’s Disney days were behind her when she released this music video…
The star’s single, ‘We Can’t Stop’ from her fourth album Bangerz, showed us a different side to the then twenty-one-year-old.
Around this time, the star attracted headlines for her rebellious antics, too.
And many dubbed her as just another Disney star who had gone off the rails.
But she managed to survive it all…
And in recent years, Miley has continued to make music and tour the world.
But recently, some sad news has emerged from within Miley’s family.
Miley’s mom, Tish, filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus after almost thirty years of marriage.
According to TMZ, Tish Cyrus filed the documents for divorce in Tennessee back in April.
The outlet reports that the pair had been married for almost thirty years and have 5 children together.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reportedly state that Tish and Billy Ray haven’t lived together in more than 2 years.
The reason for the split is reportedly listed as “irreconcilable differences.”
For many fans, the news of their divorce has not come as a shock as they have filed for divorce twice previously in 2010 and 2013, though both times it was called off.
The outlet reports that Tish has asked for marital assets to be distributed equally.
And now, just months after their split was reported, Billy Ray Cyrus is engaged.
Fans can’t believe the news…
One Twitter user wrote: “Billy Ray Cyrus getting engaged to a girl a year younger than Miley is gross. Why is it so hard for men to date people closer to their age.”
Another commented: “Wait, so Billy Ray Cyrus is 61 and engaged to a woman two years younger than Miley? What is up with straight men this month? Are you okay? Can you like not be weird for just a second?”
That’s right, the sixty-one-year-old country singer is engaged to twenty-eight-year-old Australian singer, Firerose.
The pair met while they were working on the single ‘New Day’ last year, and they clearly hit it off, as she has recently been spotted wearing a huge diamond ring after they reportedly got engaged.
However, their relationship hasn’t gone down well with Miley, not only have the father-daughter-duo unfollowed each other on Instagram, but she is also allegedly not on good terms with her father.
A source told The Sun: “Miley is all about peace but she didn’t agree with some things that her father has done. It has really escalated and they are not on good terms. There were words exchanged over what happened towards the end of Billy and Tish’s marriage, and since then, but they clearly see things very differently.”
They continued: “Neither of them is particularly eager to make amends right now without an apology. The rest of the family are hoping it will blow over soon and they will be able to make up, but Billy and Miley are both upset.”
Since then, Miley has been in the news yet again, this time for her surprising comments about Hailey Bieber.
Miley reunited with Hailey on an episode of Apple TV’s Carpool Karaoke, which was hosted by Hailey and her friend, Kendall Jenner.
According to reports, after singing an energetic rendition of Miley’s hit ‘Party in the USA’, things got real, and the girls got to playing catch-up.
“I’ve known you since you were 11,” Hailey said to Miley.
In response, Miley turned to Kendall and explained the nature of their childhood relationship.
“I would be evil to her,” she said of Hailey.
Miley would try to play with us, like me and Alaia [Hailey’s sister], and we would lock her out of the room.”
Hailey was quick to agree: “My older sister and her used to gang up on me,” she remembered.
“I had to. It made you who you are, you know? It made you stronger,” Miley replied.
“Now you can always take like trolls and sh*t. Cause I was such a troll,” she added.
Turning to Kendall, Hailey confirmed: “Miley was the biggest troll to me. She prepared me for this industry!”
But Hailey wasn’t the only one to benefit from the bickering. Later on in the episode, Miley acknowledged that she “needed little sisters to pick on to make me feel like a regular kid.”
